Chillin' on an Uninhabited Island in Another World
Chapter 52: Fluffy Meeting
I was shocked that my idiot down there still had not weakened even after four times in a row, but once Chiyu got dressed again and I took a while to steady myself with deep breaths, the erection finally subsided.
That said, if I let my guard down and think about anything sexy even a little, it swells up hard enough to feel like it might rip straight through my pants, so I had to be careful.
“Do you need to explain it to everyone and ask for their help?”
Because I cannot stop getting hard, everyone, please help me get off...?
Was I really supposed to say that?
With an important event tomorrow, too?
Then again, maybe a guy who could not resist his childhood friend’s temptation even in a situation like this had no right to say anything.
“Even if we do that, it’ll be after we make plans for the afternoon and everybody finishes what they need to do first.”
“Ooh, So-kun, nerves of steel. So cool... urp.”
Chiyu made a tiny sound in her throat.
All four times had been a huge amount, and Chiyu had taken every last bit of it into her stomach.
“...You don’t feel sick?”
“I’m fine. If I had to say one thing, it still feels like it’s clinging to my throat.”
“It’s not actual damage, so Basic Heal probably wouldn’t work...”
“Purify... mm, better now.” 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
“Purify really is versatile.”
“From now on, if everyone ever has trouble because of something that came out of So-kun’s ‘So-kun,’ I’ll use it for them.”
That was not an easy comment to react to.
We went back inside and headed into the living room.
The other three had already gathered there.
“Welcome back, you two. How were the chickens?”
Shion said it with a bright smile.
Since feeding them had taken way too long, she had probably figured out all sorts of things already.
“Sorry, did we keep you waiting?”
“Nope. It’s okay.”
“Sousuke, Sousuke. I talked it over with Minorin too, but I still can’t come up with the next fluffy candidate!”
“Kanna wants her next summon to be some kind of flying creature, but ideally one that can carry people too.”
“That is a tough one.”
Once Chiyu and I sat down at the table, Shion stood up and said, “I’ll make tea for you two,” before heading into the kitchen.
After thanking her, I turned to Minori.
“What did you suggest?”
“Whether it could actually carry a person or not aside, I suggested something like a pterosaur might be closest in size.”
“Like a pteranodon?”
“Yes. Though apparently it did not have the strength to grab a person and fly the way it does in movies.”
“Seriously...? I didn’t know that.”
“A pteranodon isn’t fluffy, though... right?”
Kanna stared off into the distance.
Maybe she was exhausted from thinking too hard.
“I didn’t think I would be much help, so I was waiting for you, Sousuke.”
“Hm. A fluffy thing that flies, huh...? In fiction, there are dragons with fluffy fur too.”
“Eh!? Really!? What kind!?”
Kanna bit immediately.
“Well, there are all kinds, but... the one I thought looked coolest was an eastern dragon with fur.”
“By eastern dragon, you mean the kind that looks like a snake, with whiskers and horns?” Kanna asked, tilting her head.
“Yeah, exactly. Then it’s got soft, fluffy fur all over it, kind of like a ferret.”
“Hm hm... that might actually be good?”
At this point, considering she could already summon phantasmal beasts, it was a little late to be wondering this, but I had to ask myself whether she might be able to summon even creatures with no real original source, as long as she could form a solid enough image of them.
Just then, Shion came back.
She had made herbal tea for me and Chiyu, and she refilled everyone else’s cups too.
The scent made me think, That smells like Shion... but I immediately shook my head.
No, the reverse.
It only smelled the same because I had mixed lemongrass into Shion’s soap.
It was not tea that smelled like Shion. It was Shion that smelled like the tea.
As though she had seen right through my thoughts, Shion smiled.
“That’s our Sousuke.”
“Yeah. Sometimes the knowledge I picked up from manga actually comes in handy.”
I doubted many people ever got to have an experience like this, but if it had been useful, that was good enough for me.
“Hmm. Sousuke, can I get some paper and a pen too? I want to lock the image in better.”
“Of course. If you really can get a companion that flies, that’d be huge.”
Since I was at it, I prepared tools for everyone and handed them out.
“They won’t feel exactly the same as what we used in Japan, but use them for whatever you need.”
“Thanks, Sousuke! That’s so Sousuke!”
“Thank you. I’ll use it to write down recipes...!”
“I already got some before, but I’ll take a bit more paper. This is really helping.”
I was honestly happy it was going over so well.
As students, we had all used notebooks and writing tools, but it was not as though I had ever especially liked them.
Still, on a deserted ◈ Nоvеlіgһт ◈ (Continue reading) island with no phones or computers, the ways to leave something behind in written form were limited.
That made paper and ink valuable all at once.
“Mm. I’ll write down the words and techniques that make So-kun happy so I don’t forget them.”
The moment the girls heard Chiyu say that, they each took a few more sheets from the paper laid out on the table.
...Were they all planning to identify my preferences and take notes on them?
With this group, I did not really mind, but I hoped they would at least be careful not to let anything leak out.
“Alright! I’m going to snuggle Mashiro while I organize my ideas!”
That was probably the right top priority for Kanna.
Mashiro alone was already powerful, and now there was even a chance she might gain a flying dragon as an ally.
“I’m going to increase my spell use count as much as I can too. For now, I’ll go around the whole house casting Purify. After that, I’ll use healing magic on everyone.”
Now that the number of spells she could use had actually increased, maybe Chiyu had grown even hungrier for more magic.
That would help everyone too, so I was all for it.
“Ah, I want to use a lot of magic too. I’ll do it outside so I don’t bother anyone.”
Minori only had beginner-level spells for now, but there was every reason to hope she would become even stronger later.
Naturally, nobody objected.
“Then I’ll...”
“There’s something I want Shii-chan and So-kun to do.”
Chiyu said that.
Kanna and Minori headed outside just like that.
That left the three of us behind.
“Chiyu, what is it you want us to do?”
“...Actually, something terrible is happening to So-kun right now.”
Chiyu spoke in her usual flat voice, but with a strange seriousness.
“Then it really is true, huh. Tell me the details?”
Apparently her Lie-Detection Ability had judged it as the truth.
Shion’s expression turned serious too.
“Hey, Chiyu, don’t tell me...”
“On impulse, I cast Energy Up on So-kun’s ‘So-kun,’ and something outrageous happened.”
“Chiyu...”
“It got longer, thicker, and harder, and the number of times it can fire is unlimited.”
It was not unlimited.
“...Wait. That’s not the important part... What you mean is, even after you took care of him, Sousuke still hasn’t had enough?”
“Mm.”
Chiyu gave a small nod.
“I see. Then that really is serious.”
Shion walked over to me and gently took my hand.
“Leave it to me, Sousuke. I’ll be useful to you.”
Shion said it with something almost like a sense of duty in her voice.
“...Please.”
Honestly, I had been wondering what I was even supposed to do myself, so I was grateful that Shion seemed fully on board.
“Yeah!”
She gently tugged on my hand, and we started toward the second floor.
When I looked back downstairs, Chiyu was giving me a firm thumbs-up.
What exactly was going through her head?
Sometimes I really did not understand my childhood friend’s heart.
