Because in the original story, her ending is very tragic, and none of her associates meet good ends. Hence, Lin En must pretend to be under the hypnosis while secretly being ready to flee at any moment. But gradually things start to take an unexpected turn. ... The world was once at war with 10 alternate worlds. This was known as the Concept War and our world won 60 years ago. All of this was concealed so no normal people are aware of this fact in the current time.
