The Inner Odyssey - Chapter 9: Nature’s Call

Riding out the apocalypse on a tropical island isn't exactly a vacation. When mana arrives on Earth, Coop finds himself isolated in paradise with only one real option to survive. He needs to claim a civilization shard and level up. Coop maximizes his chances by carefully selecting a class and committing to progression. He’ll need to grind thousands of monsters to compete on the system's leaderboards while upgrading his settlement to represent the factionless.

The story is about a man who’s opposed to the now-common practice of implanting false memories, but is one day given memories of a fictional childhood friend. This fabricated happiness torments him, but then, to his surprise, he meets her – a girl who shouldn’t exist.

The strongest Demon Lord dies, and reincarnates as a human. Not only that, he because of various incidents turns into the hero’s best friend.

Follow his journey as he tries to help the hero escape his fate, and on the sideline to conquer the continent while he’s at it.

This is a story about the pursuit of victory.
