Still, thanks to the light mote next to me illuminating the pages, I was able to notice that the last page had words engraved in it, almost as if they had used a needle instead of a pen to write it.
I only noticed it because the light reflected on the ink’s texture, allowing me to catch a glimpse of it before using my hands to feel the grooves of the letters.
