'Nina?'The thought hit me before I even really processed who it was. Nina Shoka from my class. She was just walking along, probably listening to music, totally unaware that this car had lost control and was sliding right toward her.I didn't think about it. Didn't weigh the pros and cons or consider my options. My legs just started moving.I dropped my phone and sprinted toward her. The car was maybe three seconds away from hitting her when I slammed into her side, pushing her as hard as I could toward the sidewalk.She went flying, landing hard on the concrete but definitely out of the car's path.Me? Not so lucky.The impact felt like getting hit by a train. One second I was pushing Nina to safety, the next I was flying through the air. Then I hit the ground and everything went wrong at once.I couldn't move my legs. Couldn't really move much of anything, actually. There was this weird warm feeling spreading across my chest and stomach, and when I tried to breathe, it felt like drowning.'Well, this sucks,' I thought, staring up at the sky. 'Guess that's what I get for being a hero.'My vision started getting all swimmy and weird, but I could make out Nina crawling over to me. It seemed pretty obvious to me - she was in trouble, so I helped. That's what you do, right? Nothing fancy about it.She was talking to me, saying my name a lot. I didn't realize she even knew my name, to be honest. We had been in the same class for like three months and I don't think we had ever actually had a conversation.“Kofi, stay with me, okay?” she was saying. “You're gonna be fine. The ambulance is coming.”

On the battlefield, the Avengers fell into a bitter battle, and when Thanos was about to win, suddenly, there was a loud noise in the sky, and only a huge battleship that covered the sky appeared above everyone’s heads, and opened the door from the battleship. A man stepped out of the hatch.

“who are you!”

Thanos felt uneasy and shouted loudly.

“Who am I, you ask?”

The man looked down on the world.

“Listen well, I am the doctor of Rhodes Island, the admiral of the tutelary mansion, the master of Chaldea, the commander of Griffin, the onmyoji of Heianjing, the knight of Princess Link, the dress-up master of the Miracle Continent, Rainbow Squad operator, Battle Commander, Duelist of Dueling City, Demon Hunter who can cry, Demon Hunter who collects Gwent cards, Ashes of No Fire, Master Ashes of Fireproof Lady, Destroyer of Outer Gods. Sever Undead The man of the sky. Grabber of Skyrim, god of war who slaughtered the gods of Olympus and Asgard. Assassin who wants nothing but love, little policeman of Raccoon City, ruler and protector of the border. King of Erden, High Lord of Azeroth, Warrior of Arad, Summoner of Valoran, Defender of Crossfire, Mercenary of Kuhan…”

The world has never been perfect but it was a million times better than what it is today!

Blue meteorites rained upon the world and changed everything. That very night thousands of lives were lost and many thought the worst had passed, little did they know something worse is about to happen!

The world was covered with blue mist and by the morning it was all gone. The genes of the human race was mutated and a select few had their mutated genes, activated, granting them power and today they are called deviants.

‘With great power comes great responsibilities’

If many understood what this meant, the world wont be as messed up as it is right now. With the governments biased towards the deviants, the powerless humans are discriminated against and crime rate has risen exponentially.

Deviants swagger about, doing what they want with no one to keep them in check, the world was thrown into chaos, animals were affected by the blue mist and mutated as well! it was only a matter of time before the human territories was taken over by the mutated beasts!

The mess we are in right now is because of the deviants and someone has to make them pay for their actions. This is where I come in!
