Chapter 1 – 8 of the novel is essentially just a prologue of the novel and it does not impact it too much, so you can skip it if you’re averse to things like torture or anything that could induce negativity.

Then again, I am not saying that chapter 1 to chapter 8 are less important but some readers might not like it as I’ve discovered. So I thought about putting it here just in case.

But if you don’t mind checking it out, then go ahead and read from chapter 1 at your own risk.

The pretty ponytail girl is holding a husky cub with exceptionally intelligent eyes in her arms, looking at Lin Ye as if she were looking at a heinous profiteer.

“Miss, I have to solemnly declare that it——is not a mixed-haired husky!”

“Don’t scare me!”

“Start straight, it has the blood of the hell three-headed dog, and its potential is endless.”

Chu Ning transmigrated into a novel as a fake young lady who was switched at birth. The real young lady, Ye Ting, was supposedly in Chu Ning’s original poor family, and was forced to drop out of school to work and raise Chu Ning’s seven brothers.
