Gods, monsters, devils, angels every higher creature from every mythology began to bless those they found worthy and share their powers.

Eventually with the emergence of the gates, we realized they were preparing us.

The so called chosen heroes who enter gates are known as the Blessed and in it’s become the most sought after career in the world.

They are the most famous and well known people in the entire world and some are even the leaders of their own nations.

They are immensely powerful, beautiful, and charming beings.

After five whole years, we still have no idea what the higher’s criteria are for blessing a human.

Despite the seemingly loose criteria, only 1 percent of the population actually end up as blessed and gain the privilege of entering gates and defending our world.

With all of the excitement around the Blessed, we seem to have forgotten the most important question.

Why are they doing this for us and what will they require in return?

These don’t crop up much until later in the story.— A variety of supernatural beings, such as elves, vampires, gargoyles, chimera, and trolls. Many are familiar, some are not, and most of the familiar ones have my own twists put on them.—Nobledark fantasy. This means that the world is often themed around tragedy and horror, but it’s not dedicated to being gritty. There are elements of high fantasy intermixed with the scarier stuff.—Episodic arcs. Each story arc usually has a specific locale and antagonist or set of antagonists, but certain overarching plots tie them together.— A long running narrative. I don’t have a specific projection of how long or how many arcs or books, but you should expect this to be equivalent to a long running serialized work.This is my first web serial! On March 1, 1999, during the old era, a gigantic six-winged creature with a bloodshot giant eyeball at the center of its six wings suddenly appeared over the land of Gaul, resembling an “angel” descending on earth!

On January 27, 2000, during the old era, an enormous flaming giant, wearing a crown, emerged in the Arctic Iceland, standing hundreds of meters tall. The ice and snow melted, the earth collapsed, and the civilian casualties amounted to a hundred thousand!

On February 13, 2000, during the old era, Mount Fuji erupted, and a colossal beast resembling an upright lizard emerged from molten lava. Three days later, the island of Honshu fell under its wrath.

In 123 during the new era, Chu Lingjun transmigrated into this terrifying world, but he possessed an electric eel clone.
