Note: Please understand that the beginning of this novel was written at a time where I didn't know a lot about pacing and other important stuff crucial in writing. Once you get past that point (around the midpoint of Volume 2), it gets better. I hope you enjoy reading!

When he stayed at her home and one night, he took her body in a drunken stupor. From then on, he had been a constant fixture in her life. How adamant he was in forcing a marriage was how adamant she demanded for a divorce. “I’m not staying married to you! I’m not staying married to you! I’m not staying married to you!” After she repeated such an important proclamation three times, he finally tossed her the divorce paper. Ever since Yi Yang discovered that he could hear Xu Xingyi’s thoughts, he found that his wife kept kissing up to him and saying she loved him but in her heart she would laugh at that.

She loved him on the surface.

“Husband, you are so nice, I love you very/so much ah!”
