"Yea.. what were you even doing to get her to make such sounds." Kaila asked, of course it had to be her..

"Alright.. enough flirting you two, Dante, what are you doing?" Mira interrupted our little talk..

The silence strentched until it finally became uncomfortable..

"What is it?"

"This bastard is messing with us right?" Khalifa cussed..

"Yea, of course, you don’t need to tell us if you don’t want to." Mira rolled her eyes, "do you think a Supreme Law is something you comprehend just becuase you want to? What are you? "Where did she even go?" I asked, curious.

"She got bored waiting around, so she took a mission she’s been putting off for a while now." Mira answered, sitting down cross legged, her nightgown riding up her pale thighs..

Yes, they were all still in their nightgowns, they’d just woken up afterall...

"Ahh, that’s my girl, hardworking, unlike a couple of slackers I see before me." I snickered..

"I don’t know yet, but I can feel it, better safe than sorry, now, if you beautiful ladies can please give me a moment." Saying that, I closed my eyes, shutting out the world, though not before hearing Mira sigh at the ridiculousness of my words..

I smiled as my mind finally delved into dissecting my newly gained skill, <Zero Distance strike> I didn’t know if I was going to find what I was looking for within this skill, but if <Chronostasis> had given me what I thought it would, then even though it seemed far fetched, I was hoping Lady Luck was finally back from her vacation, because I needed that law to make headway in my plans...

Slowly, my mind turned blank as only the skill <zero distance strike> remained.

[Chaotic comprehension activating....]

I couldn’t even see the notification that popped up, the system’s chime sounding like something echoing from a distant memory...

Slowly, my breathing stilled.

This was it.

That feeling I had when I consciously tried to understand something.

"Did he really... enter a state of enlightenment just like that?" Khalifa whispered, shocked.

"You guys.. you don’t really think he’s about to comprehend a supreme law do you?" Kaila asked, all her teasing and playful demeanor gone, what remained was a solemn expression on her face..

"I don’t know, it’s hard believing that someone that has just been here a week, could comprehend something that even the monstrous instructors of the academy, the heads of ancient lineages, all these powerful figures, could only dream of." Mira sighed.

"But, he seemed genuinely sure about himself." Khalifa seemed to be the only person really entertaining the thought that Dante had done something that ridiculous..

"Come on khali, he might just be messing with us, you know how he’s always trying to tease." Kaila argued..

"Then explain this!" Khalifa pointed at the stationary figure..

"Explain how you enter enlightenment on a whim just so you can tease some women. Even that bastard wouldn’t be that shameless."

"This.." both Mira and Kaila exchanged doubtful expressions.

They were really unconvinced.

Because if that were true.

If Dante had somehow succeeded in comprehending a supreme law, and is now attempting to comprehend another one right before them.

Then they wouldn’t be worthy of the titles of geniuses that they’d been given.

Hell, no one within the entire academy would be worthy of stepping up to him.

Just as the girls were about to speak , the world suddenly glitched.

The girls froze in shock.

"What’s happening?".

"Im.. impossible!" Kaila was shook, her body turning robotically towards the source of the disruption..

Not just her, all three girls turned slowly, dread and disbelief painting their faces..

"How...?"

"It can’t be.."

There, their eyes found a scene they would never forget.

Dante, seating calmly, a serene and enchanting smile on his face, but it wasn’t the smile that caught their attention.

It was the surrounding area around him..

Multiple shadows of phantom weapons were striking continuously.

Each strike, hitting a single spot in space precisely, none missing a beat, causing fissures to appear and the void to blow out its chilly air constantly..

They didn’t need a notification.

They’d never even seen someone comprehend a supreme law before, but somehow they knew.

This wasn’t in any way how things reacted when one comprehends a major law.

It was almost as if the world, the universe itself was announcing the birth of another Supreme, and this time the girls could only stare in stunned disbelief..

A slow smile curled up my lips as I focused on the sweet notification that had just appeared before me.
