"Sister Jane! It’s all up to you now! Keep it up!" Charlie Peterson cheered Jane Sampson on for quite a while, as he had noticed that the moment he pushed Jane Sampson forward, the team members over there had their eyes glued on her.

Jane Sampson smiled and, instead of asking directly like Alexander Blackwood, she walked towards Lieutenant Johnson with a smile that was oh so gentle and charming, "Lieutenant Johnson, would you like to join us for a game, if that’s alright with you~"

Lieutenant Johnson felt that there was a killer intent in Sister-in-law’s smile, a smile hiding a blade.

He cleared his throat and shook his head, "Sorry, I still have training to do and I can’t spare the time."

"That’s true, I also thought that Lieutenant Johnson definitely wouldn’t have the time." Jane Sampson nodded seriously.

Just when Lieutenant Johnson was wondering why Jane Sampson was so easy to dismiss, he heard her continue, "Then, could I trouble Lieutenant Johnson to assign three team members whom you think would be the best fit for our team?"

Lieutenant Johnson felt that if he refused again, the sister-in-law might just blow some pillowside wind tonight.

And the hidden meaning in Jane Sampson’s words about not disappointing anyone was clear to Lieutenant Johnson; it meant to assign the three best men to be lent to her for a while.

All of this was a setup! It was all Jane Sampson’s manipulation!

First, she invited him personally, and he refused. Then she asked him to assign someone. If he refused again, she would have a reason to complain.

Jane Sampson targeted him immediately upon arrival, clearly having noticed that none of his carrots could leave without his permission, and she naturally realized that he, as camp commander, couldn’t possibly go play a game with them.

Lieutenant Johnson turned and looked at his subordinates, whose souls seemed almost hooked away by Jane Sampson. After hesitating for a few seconds, he nodded and spoke, "John River, Joshua Calm, Christopher Forest, step forward!"

"Yes!" The three men whose names were called responded in unison, their voices loud enough to reach the heavens.

Lieutenant Johnson glanced at the three smiling men and snorted to himself, pleased they were.

But what use was it? They didn’t even know their Goddess Sampton was their chief’s wife. They were given the opportunity but had no clue how to curry favor with the chief’s wife!

"Your mission for today is to participate in their game and complete it!" Lieutenant Johnson said.

"Understood! We guarantee to complete the task assigned by the camp commander!" The three men responded loudly, and then stood by Jane Sampson’s side amid the envious gazes of their teammates.

"Goddess Sampton! Goddess Sampton! I never thought I’d be able to be so close to you!" Joshua Calm, standing next to Jane Sampson, grinned like a monkey.

Mair Williams and Alexander Blackwood now understood that without the officer’s command, the team members, even if they wanted to join, wouldn’t dare respond.

"Jane Sampson’s brain is incredible." Alexander Blackwood, who had played games with Jane Sampson before, couldn’t help but praise her. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂
