"Instructor, Sir! We’re sorry, we were wrong!" Without bothering about the details, Jane Sampson hastened to apologize first, knowing it was the right thing to do.

Mair Williams glanced at Jane Sampson and followed her lead, "Instructor, Sir, we’re sorry, we were wrong! It won’t happen again!"

"I’m asking you, what were you just talking about? If you answer irrelevantly again, go run ten laps!" the instructor said mercilessly.

Meanwhile, James Black, upon hearing his subordinate mention Jane Sampson’s name, immediately paid attention. Peter Gingery, standing behind James Black, looked at Jane Sampson and the other female artist who had been singled out. Seeing who was responsible for the training today, he also felt nervous on behalf of Jane.

It was okay to slack off under anyone’s supervision, but to do so in front of the ’black-face king’ was bad news. Even he, Peter Gingery, had to stay utterly tense in his presence.

This guy, brought up personally by James Black, showed no mercy and was as ruthless as James Black himself.

Mair Williams turned pale upon hearing about running ten laps.

She glanced at Jane Sampson, then at the people who had obviously stopped there to watch the excitement. Closing her eyes, she thought whether she stuck her neck out or not, she’d have to face the music eventually.

Resigned to her fate.

Mair Williams opened her mouth, "Look quickly..."

But before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by the instructor with the black face who was in front of her.

"Missing a word, add ten laps!" the black-face instructor’s gaze landed on Mair Williams’s face, "Repeat from the first word you said!"

After a pause, the black-face instructor added, "Louder, if you love talking so much, let everyone hear what you’re saying! If one person doesn’t hear, add ten laps! Your voice should be as loud as your mouth is big!" 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

"Yes, Sir!" Jane Sampson and Mair Williams replied in unison, both seeing despair and their doom reflected in each other’s eyes.

"This instructor is so fierce!" Mair Williams yelled.

"Didn’t have breakfast this morning? I can’t hear you!" The black-face instructor said.

"This instructor is so fierce!" Mair Williams raised her voice.

"Did anyone hear her voice?" the black-face instructor asked.

The crowd had all heard her; they were practically going deaf, but nobody dared to answer.

"This instructor is so fierce!" Mair Williams shouted with all she had.

At this moment, Jane Sampson wished she truly had a heart condition and would just drop dead.

"Somewhat!" Jane Sampson bravely continued the conversation.

"Hey! Look! The Brother Soldier walking in front is so handsome!" Mair Williams at this moment had only one thought, thankfully she hadn’t described the instructor as both black-faced and fierce, but had remarked that the passing Brother Soldier was very handsome.

However, at this point, Mair Williams looked at Jane Sampson with an expression that said she could do nothing to help her; the passerby Brother Soldier was standing right there looking. Sorry, sis, I can’t help you.

When Peter Gingery heard Mair Williams mention this, he chuckled and whispered to James Black in front of him, "Brother, she said you’re handsome! Do you think your sister-in-law will praise you too, being flattered by looks?"

Right now, James Black’s only response in his mind was a cold snigger.

Seeing Jane Sampson not picking up the conversation, the black-face instructor spoke in a cold tone, "Jane Sampson! Are you mute?"

"Instructor, Sir! Can I choose to run ten laps?" Jane Sampson asked timidly.

"You can, one word, ten laps! Count for yourself how many laps you need to run," the black-face instructor said.

Jane Sampson sneakily glanced at James Black, who stood there with an impassive expression focused on her, and she thought to herself.

Her day of doom was probably today.

Better dead and at peace.

Jane Sampson closed her eyes and said, "Hideous!"

The black-face instructor’s eyes twitched, "Too softly spoken, I can’t hear you!"

"Hideous!" Jane Sampson felt like she might be executed by dismemberment by someone.
