Jane Sampson didn’t understand this part, "Elizabeth King only returned to Capital Province this morning, right? I wasn’t with the crew and even if Elizabeth King did return, she wouldn’t have made a big deal of telling every single person that she was replaced by me. So, how exactly did this blogger find out I changed my assistant?"

"Elizabeth King has already returned to the company, and the company is investigating her," Rock Bell said, "The company suspects that she leaked the information herself, but Elizabeth King denies it, saying she never did such a thing."

"It’s unlikely that the person is Elizabeth King herself," Jane shook her head, "First of all, Elizabeth King doesn’t have the brains or the connections. Besides, Sister Tin, you’ve overlooked another detail—if Elizabeth King wanted to get back at me for replacing her, she would have done it more cleanly."

Although Jane Sampson had initiated the assistant switch, she still had a good grasp of Elizabeth King’s nature.

"If I were Elizabeth King and I wanted revenge, then after leaking the info, I would surely have exposed my marital status too. For a newcomer, especially a female actress, being revealed as married right after her debut, that’s definitely the most advantageous way to strike at her," Jane said, "This blogger didn’t expose my marital status, so it’s unlikely to be Elizabeth King."

"What you say makes sense too," Rock Bell nodded, "The assistants assigned to you have all signed special contracts with the company. If Elizabeth really betrays an artist’s privacy, she would face severe consequences. Elizabeth seems like the kind of person who wouldn’t dare to do such a thing."

"Right, though Elizabeth King is crafty, she’s a person who can’t hide her schemes." Frankly, if Elizabeth King were clever, she wouldn’t have spent her time as Jane Sampson’s assistant cozying up to Mandy Forest. How could someone who doesn’t even know how to pretend have the cunning to use such a means to take revenge on someone she doesn’t have a big grudge against?

"Sister Tin, ask Elizabeth King how many people in the crew knew about me changing assistants," said Jane, "I suspect it was someone from the crew who caused this."

"Okay," Rock Bell said, "Don’t pay attention to these malicious rumors that are blindly spread just to smear you. In the circle, who hasn’t encountered a few of these disgusting incidents? These people cling like leeches that you can’t shake off. They stick to whoever is popular at the moment, and the more outrageous even fabricate incidents like accidental deaths."

"Mm, I’ve arrived at the airport," Jane acknowledged.

After hanging up the phone, Jane Sampson logged back onto Twitter and thought for a moment but couldn’t resist sending out a tweet.

Regarding the blog post about me being a diva for changing assistants, I have the following doubts:

1, Since when do actors not have the right to change assistants? Does your boss not have the authority to transfer positions either?

2, Regarding the fruit-throwing incident, do some people have such unique morals these days? Has the victim become the one to be blamed? Shouldn’t we condemn the villain who sneakily threw fruits at me?

3, I’m making my assistant butter up others? Are you sure that’s not a joke? Common sense dictates that if you want to please someone, shouldn’t that be done personally? Buttering up is something you can have someone else do for you? This is the first time I’ve heard of this; it’s enlightening.

4, It’s not for you haters to judge whether I’m a good person or not; I reject your opinion.
