Shirley Young only managed to post her clarification statement after around four in the early morning, which was supposed to be the most peaceful time of day. Yet, because of her statement, the internet realm exploded once again.

Those reporters, hastily called in for overtime, were itching with annoyance. Why did these people always love stirring up trouble in the middle of the night instead of sleeping?

When Jane Sampson was woken up by a phone call from Rock Bell, she was utterly bewildered.

She had thought that Senior Shirley would issue a statement before sleep, only to find that Senior Shirley had stayed up all night and only posted it now.

"Last night, some negative news surfaced online about you again, with some brain-dead trolls maliciously attacking, saying you were kept by someone. That post has been shredded all night long," Rock Bell said, "Now that Shirley has made her statement, you should post your property owner card on Twitter. If you don’t slap these people eagerly waiting for it, you’ll be letting them down for their nastiness."

"Okay, got it." Jane’s voice still held a hint of sleepiness, but after hanging up the phone, she still went on Twitter to scroll through.

Although Shirley’s statement had only been posted for a while, it had shot up into the hot search list. Jane clicked on the trending twitter and saw the post.

In addition to posting the mosaic-marred marriage photo that hid the wife’s face and other information, Shirley also posted a group photo of a family of three from the back.

On Twitter, Shirley earnestly apologized to all her fans, saying that she had been hiding the fact of her marriage for years in an attempt to protect her wife.

Shirley said that her wife was an outsider and also pleaded with netizens to not pay too much attention to her wife, lest it affect her normal work and life.

What moved Jane a little was that, in the end, Shirley said quite a few good words on her behalf.

After exiting Shirley’s Twitter, Jane clicked into another hot topic and only then did she realize, while she had been sleeping soundly last night, a girl had been trying hard to defend her good name. Although the replies to the post later turned into a brawl, seeing the so-called ’kept woman’ comments made Jane want to sneer.

So James Black was right, she couldn’t believe there’s anyone who wouldn’t buy off the unauthorized crowd to spread rumors.

Jane went back to Twitter and simply retweeted the junior reporter’s post who had interviewed her, adding just a few kiss emojis without saying much.

After retweeting, Jane took out the property owner card from her purse, placed it carelessly on the tabletop, and snapped a photo to post right away.

Having posted on Twitter, Jane sent a private message to thank Shirley. After waiting a while with no reply, she guessed that Shirley must have gone to rest after posting, seeing as she had filming early in the morning too. So Jane put her mobile phone back on the table and laid down to continue sleeping.
