Elizabeth was startled by Mandy’s cold laugh, looking at her with confusion and shook her head, "I’m not quite sure, but it’s possible, Mr. Carter is indeed quite nice."

After some thought, Elizabeth added, "Sister Mandy Forest, you might not be aware, but yesterday, some malicious person from our crew threw away Sister Jane’s fruits that were hanging at the doorway, tossing them into the gutter near the door. It was so pitiful that Sister Jane couldn’t enjoy any of the fruits."

"That’s true, the whole crew’s been talking about it," Mandy’s assistant nodded along fervently.

"Oh really?" Mandy replied dryly, pretending to meditate with her eyes closed, untouched by the fruits placed on the table.

After a few minutes, she suddenly opened her eyes, asked her assistant for her mobile phone, sent a text message, and then put the phone away.

Aside from the initial struggles with the emotional scene, the rest of the day’s filming went smoothly once Jane adjusted her performance.
