CEO's Reborn Wife

After lunch, James Black and Old Master Black were making tea next to them, while Jane Sampson and Oliver Black’s wife were choosing the clothes Jane would wear at noon tomorrow with their mobiles.

The pictures were sent by Coco Edwards to Jane Sampson, asking her to choose in advance so they can be prepared and sent to the Black Residence early in the morning.

Oliver Black’s son was nestled next to Jane Sampson, the little fellow was also craning his head to look at Jane’s mobile phone.

"Auntie, the pink dress looks super pretty, you’ll definitely look great in it!" The little guy pointed his finger at a pink formal dress. "Wearing this dress, Auntie, you’ll definitely look like a little fairy."

Jane Sampson was overjoyed by the little fellow’s compliments.

"Sister-in-law, what do you think? How’s the pink one look?" Jane Sampson turned her head to ask the little guy’s mother.

"Not bad, my son has great taste, this shade of pink is not tacky at all." Oliver Black’s wife nodded, agreeing with her son’s taste. "The key is, this dress has long sleeves, so it can cover up the wound on your arm."

Jane Sampson didn’t plan to disclose her arm wound tomorrow noon, and if she picked a sleeveless dress, she intended to wear a coat.

"Auntie, Mommy also thinks it’s good-looking! Then you should wear this one!" The little fellow excitedly tugged at Jane Sampson’s hand and shook it, "I want to tell my classmates my auntie looks like a little fairy." 𝙛𝒓𝒆𝙚𝒘𝒆𝓫𝙣𝓸𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝒄𝒐𝓶

Perhaps it was because the little fellow was so adept at complimenting, he made Jane Sampson so delighted she couldn’t stop smiling, attracting more attention from James Black.

"Let me see." James Black said to Jane Sampson from where he was sitting.

The little fellow took the mobile phone from Jane Sampson’s hand, ran to James Black’s side, and handed the mobile to him. Oliver Black’s wife chuckled and said, "James, as you’re making tea, are your ears also attached to your wife? Why are you so attentively listening to our conversation?"

This was to tease James Black for having his attention focused on Jane Sampson.

James Black stayed composed amidst the teasing, continuing what he was doing, attentively looking at the pictures on the mobile.

After he finished, he returned the mobile to the little fellow, letting him take it back to Jane Sampson.

He made a decision for Jane Sampson, "Just go with this pink one, and let Coco Edwards bring the bright red one for you as a backup."

"Why are you so involved in what clothes Jane wears? She should pick what she likes on her own, right? Aren’t you busy enough as Chief Black?" Brooke Black scoffed, "You need to change your chauvinistic flaws."

James Black glanced at Brooke Black, replied with a perfunctory "Mm," stood up, walked over to Jane Sampson, and said to everyone, "I’m taking her upstairs for a nap."

Leaving these words behind, he took the still surprised Jane Sampson upstairs.

Once they closed the door, Jane Sampson spoke softly to James Black, "I’m not sleepy~"

To show she was indeed not sleepy and quite energetic, she shook her head playfully at James Black as she spoke.

"I’m sleepy," James Black said, "You sleep with me for a while."

"But there are a lot of people downstairs, it’s lively," Jane Sampson said, then seeing James Black watching her, she stopped and chuckled, quickly changing her tone, "Maybe I’m a little bit sleepy now."

Having said that, Jane Sampson opened the quilt first and climbed in, thinking it over, she switched places from last night, giving James Black her sleeping spot from the previous night.
