Coco Edwards and Harry Little Money stood next to her, both with a baffled expression.

After Jane Sampson finished recording the video, she couldn’t help but jump off the weighing scale with a triumphant laugh. She replayed the video once to make sure there was no revealing of any information that shouldn’t appear, then sent it to James Black.

She then started waiting for James Black to reply to her on her mobile phone.

A little over a minute later, her phone reacted.

It was James Black calling her.

Jane Sampson practically jumped up to answer the call, and with an almost flying-happy tone, she said hello.

"Did you see the video I sent you?" Jane Sampson couldn’t help but laugh after speaking, "I’ve gained 5 catties!"

On the call, James Black responded indifferently, "Is that so?"

Just after James finished speaking, the doorbell of the room rang, and Jane Sampson instinctively looked towards the doorway and murmured to Coco Edwards, "Who could it be at this time? Coco, could you help me check?"

Just as she finished speaking, James said on the phone, "Open the door, it’s me."

Jane Sampson was stunned, no wonder she could hear the doorbell sound from her phone earlier.

This guy is outside the door?

Oh my God! Wasn’t he supposed to come tomorrow?

Jane Sampson looked shocked.

As she watched Coco Edwards about to open the door, Jane Sampson hurriedly pulled her back, "Coco! Wait a moment! Wait a moment!"

Jane Sampson couldn’t care about anything else, hung up the call, and tossed her mobile phone onto the bed.

"I need to change my clothes before opening the door!" Without another word, Jane Sampson dashed into the cloakroom.

Jane Sampson swore that she used the fastest speed of her life to take off clothes.

In less than thirty seconds, she stripped off the coat that was almost overheating her, and in one breath put on her pajamas and sleeping pants. Seeing the messy cloakroom, she had no time to tidy up, closed the cloakroom door with a snap, and while gasping for breath, climbed onto the bed pretending to have already gone to rest.

Only then did she make a gesture for Coco Edwards to open the door.

Coco Edwards’ eyelids twitched, suppressing the smile at the corner of her lips was very difficult as she slowly opened the door.

"Mr. Black." Coco Edwards saw James Black standing at the doorway with a stern face. She knew James Black’s stern face wasn’t directed at her but at Jane Sampson, who made him wait outside the door.

Coco Edwards called out to Harry Little Money, "Harry, we’re heading back to our room."

"Got it!" Harry Little Money responded, then jogged to follow behind Coco Edwards out the door.

As they left, they were considerate enough to close the room door for Jane Sampson and James Black.

James Black walked in, stood beside the bed, and looked down at Jane Sampson’s blushing face, asking, "Why did it take so long to open the door?"

"Hmm~" Jane Sampson evaded, "Why did you suddenly come tonight? Weren’t you supposed to come tomorrow? Did you bring me the double-layer milk curd?"

After speaking, Jane Sampson glanced at James Black’s hand and saw he was only carrying a small luggage bag with no food. She pouted.

Unhappy.

"No particular reason, just came early." James Black raised an eyebrow, "You said you’ve gained 5 catties?"

"Yes, yes! You saw the video, right?" Jane Sampson couldn’t help but smile with curved eyebrows at the mention of this, then reached out her hand toward James Black, "Where are my five rewards?"

"What kind of rewards do you want?" James Black asked back.

Now Jane Sampson was even happier, kneeling on the bed with her eyes rolling around, and after her eyes lit up, she slapped her palm on James Black’s chest, "I want five large cups of double-layer milk curd as my five rewards! Plus the one you promised to bring me earlier, that’s a total of six cups!"
