"You really hit where it hurts; I don’t want to be best friends with you anymore." Jane Sampson sat there wailing but stayed honest, "I’ll go to the guard team and find him this afternoon. But if he asks, don’t say anything yet, keep it a secret for me."

"Why can’t you say it if you’re going to find him?" Coco Edwards was puzzled, "It’s only half a day; are you planning to surprise him?"

"Sister Jane, are you going to find your husband to celebrate International Women’s Day?" Harry Little Money suddenly asked, "You have a drama tonight, only free in the afternoon, so are you going early to celebrate Women’s Day?"

It was Jane Sampson’s turn to be stunned.

"Is today Women’s Day?" Jane Sampson had indeed forgotten.

"Yeah, yeah!" Harry Little Money nodded, "Sister Bell said in the group that the studio will send a WhatsApp red envelope to every girl in the afternoon as a holiday benefit."

"Oh~ It’s a holiday~" Jane Sampson scratched her head; she had indeed forgotten about this matter.

So, when she got home, she had to grab something else.

"Coco, then just assume I’m going to him for the holiday. Anyway, you mustn’t say I’m going to the guard team to find him first. If he asks, you can answer however you like." Jane Sampson was feeling gleeful after saying that, and after finishing the steaming soup noodles, she went to blow-dry her hair.

After applying some skincare products on her face, she didn’t even put on lipstick. She armed herself and went out the door.

Jane Sampson’s previous car had been almost exposed by the media, as soon as it drove out it would be noticed, so now she switched to a low-profile car from Aunt Black.

From the hotel to home, no one noticed her, not even when she went to the security room to pick up an express delivery, no one recognized her.

The express delivery was tossed onto the car backseat by Jane Sampson, who grabbed the key from home and went upstairs. Entering the house, she didn’t delay much and went straight to the bedroom to take out a few cards, then ran all the way out the door.

By the time she got from home to the guardian team’s doorway, it was already 2:30, Peter Gingery had received Jane Sampson’s call early in the morning and was waiting at the doorway to let Jane Sampson in.

"Aren’t you busy recently? Why are you coming to the guard team at this time? Brother isn’t in the guard team this afternoon. Why didn’t you call him first before coming?" Peter Gingery registered Jane Sampson and then directly got into her car, nagging all the while, "How many days can you stay this time?"

"Just leaving soon." Jane Sampson rolled her eyes as she listened to Peter Gingery’s jabbering, "I never realized you were so talkative before. He’s not at the guard team, where did he go? Going out for tasks? When he video-called me last night he didn’t say he was going out for tasks, did you tell him about me coming to the guard team this afternoon?"

Jane Sampson had already instructed Peter Gingery not to tell James Black beforehand.

"He’s having a meeting in the city, his mobile phone is turned off. Even if I wanted to say something, I wouldn’t have had the chance." Peter Gingery snorted, "Staying only for a while and leaving? In such a hurry? What are you coming here specifically for?"

"To see you, my little cousin." Jane Sampson laughed mischievously, "Not seeing you for ages feels like three years, I’ve missed you~"

Peter Gingery got goosebumps from Jane Sampson’s words, "Get lost~ You don’t respect your elders! Call me brother~"

"Call me sister-in-law!" Jane Sampson retorted calmly, and when she arrived downstairs at James Black’s dormitory, she instructed Peter Gingery to help her bring the express delivery from the car’s rear seat upstairs.

"What on earth do you have back here that’s so big?" Peter Gingery pulled out the stuff from the back, "It’s not light either."
