Chapter 1295: Chapter 1303: Doesn’t Look Difficult

Jane Sampson thought, when Coco Edwards gets married, she could use her own money to buy Coco a house.

She would remember how Coco protected her without fear in times of danger.

After hanging up the phone, Jane Sampson repeated to James Black what Coco had said; James showed a bit of surprise, then grunted an affirmation and praised, "Coco is a good person."

The fact that Coco wasn’t tempted at all by such a large amount as a house shows that she indeed has good character, and that Coco truly understands her current situation.

"She is good," Jane Sampson nodded, "Being with her feels really comfortable; there’s no idol baggage at all. I don’t need to mind my manners, I can just play games with her and eat delicious food together." 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

Having said that, Jane Sampson stared at James Black for a moment, thought about it, then tiptoed up and gave James Black a peck on the lips, "You’re also great, thank you."

There were arrangements she hadn’t thought of yet, but James Black had already considered them for her.

After Coco returned to Capital Province, Jane Sampson’s daily routine included making nourishing soups for Coco, which directly resulted in both Harry Little Money and James Black’s rapid weight gain.

Harry Little Money would every day admonish himself to diet, yet couldn’t bear to let go of the lunchbox Jane sent him, whereas James Black extended his morning runs and would also make another trip to the gym every evening.

As for Jane Sampson and Coco, their weight didn’t change much, but they appeared much healthier.

In a blink of an eye, it was time for Jane Sampson to attend the music festival award ceremony. That day, after the lunch break, she rare for her didn’t need to be called by James Black, getting rid of any desire to laze in bed. As soon as the alarm clock rang, she swiftly jumped out of bed.

Looking at James Black still lying in bed watching her, Jane Sampson giggled, "Once I’m ready, I have to head out. Mr. Carter and his driver will come downstairs to pick me up. For dinner, just heat up the leftover dishes in the refrigerator, and I’ll cook you a late-night snack when I come back tonight."

James Black propped his head on his hand, lying on his side, watching Jane Sampson go to the bath room to wash her face. After she came back, she sat at the dressing table and started patting and smearing her face.

"Don’t you have a makeup artist appointment?" James Black casually asked, then got out of bed, moved a chair next to Jane Sampson and watched as she applied layer upon layer of cosmetics he couldn’t name onto her face.

"I didn’t make an appointment; that would mean leaving earlier, and it’s cold outside. I can’t be bothered. I’m naturally beautiful, so just doing a light makeup is enough," Jane Sampson declared without any bashfulness when complimenting herself.

Especially now, just out of a nap and with a few days of nourishing soups, she didn’t even need to use blush—her cheeks already had a healthy pink.

James Black chuckled lowly and didn’t talk to Jane Sampson anymore.

Due to his busy occupation, James Black had always been occupied; he never had a day like today, sitting aside and patiently watching the process of Jane Sampson putting on makeup.

When Jane Sampson started to draw her eyebrows with a pencil, James Black suddenly spoke up, "Shall I give it a try on the other side?"

Jane Sampson, who was working on her left eyebrow in the mirror, paused her hand slightly, then slowly turned her head to look at James Black with a doubtful expression, "Are you up for it?"

James Black pondered for a moment and replied, "It doesn’t look hard."
