CAT WARLOCK: This Darklord Feasts Upon Horror
Chapter 341: Proposal?
Selina shrugged, "It is nice. Thanks for the drink."
Oscar sat down with her. Selina looked at him with extreme suspicion in her eyes.
"What do you want?" Selina said.
"What? Can’t I just sit down with the captain for no reasons?" Oscar said.
Selina smirked, "Don’t kid yourself, Mr. Quill. You never do nothing without a reason."
Oscar sighed, "Alright then. Do you want to marry me?"
The black cat’s ears rose up.
"The fuck..." Mater meowed.
"Relax, Master. Relax!" Solarix waved a towel over the black cat.
"What do you actually mean, Mr. Quill?" Selina smirked sinisterly. The Octagrams appeared in her eyes.
Oscar’s hair rose up. He felt an incredibly danger lurking around him. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
"You’re mistaking my intention. What I’m suggesting was... My enterprise and yours can be merged together. Seeing how much business you own."
"You’ve been investigating me, haven’t you, Mr. Quill?"
Oscar sighed, "Not just me. Many people, Selina. Many people. They are all curious about how you were able to brought an entire crime syndicate to their knees. Some even tried to bribe, blackmail, or violently force the truth out of your gang members."
Selina twirled the glass in her hands, "And they spoke nothing, I suppose."
Oscar shook his heads, "As far as I know, yes. Your subordinates are incredibly loyal."
"You should know, Mr. Quill. I will respond in kind. You better not have anything to do with it."
"Swear to God!" Oscar raised his fingers. "I wouldn’t do those sneaky things. I would just ask you."
"So. What does this merger have to do with your proposal?"
Oscar’s face turned serious. "I’m facing a hostile takeover from some of the investors. If we merge together and the two forces became one, with you owning your entire company and my large portion, my standing will be guaranteed.
Of course, we can’t outright just merge the companies. There needs to be a reasonable excuse to do so."
"So you think of marriage?"
Oscar shook his head, "Not me. My mother. She said it’s the best solution right now. And she knew that you are in the same class as me."
Selina finished her drink, her gentle facade dropped. The mad smile and crazy eyes returned.
"Kill them all."
"What do you mean?"
"Those that try to take what are yours. Don’t scheme. Only weaklings scheme. Kill them all and take what is rightfully yours." Selina said.
"They are people, not wraiths. We can’t just kill them."
"You were a soldier, Oscar. And you’re still this naive. War isn’t a solution. War is necessity. Do not mention this idea to me again. And I mean it." Selina said.
Oscar nodded.
The goth girl stood up and walked away. She knew that he was only referring to a fake marriage. But she was never going to do that.
Because she was loyal to Mater. The black cat gave her everything she had. Power, wealth, education, and the truth.
She learned about what happened with her parents and already knew where to find them. She would find them eventually. All of that was because of him.
She wasn’t going to embarrass him by betrothed herself another man.
The goth girl sat down on the sunbath chair. The black cat climbed on her thighs.
"Pretty aggressive answer." The black cat meowed.
"Don’t act like you won’t twist Oscar’s head off." Selina rolled her eyes.
"Heh heh." The black cat couldn’t refute that.
On top of the sky, a water clone was already charging his Chaos. If things went different, Oscar would have turned to dust.
This black cat was extremely possessive.
"The Hymn of the Battlefield is this weekends. You’re ready?" The black cat meowed.
"I’m coming, too?" Selina asked.
"Of course. It is the Everlasting Wild after all. Anyone should visit them at least once."
The short vacation ended. Everyone had a great time. They planned on returning to the resort once it was officially open.
This was the last time the resort was this empty. Once Mater started to accept reservations, the place was crowded with tourists.
They came and had the best time of their lives, feeding more power into the Tidal Shrine and making it even more influential than before.
Evelynn consumed the power of the Brine Sphere and reached level 10.

With her reaching level 10, Evelynn also filled up her Pact Spells.
The only servants left that hadn’t reached level 10 were Solarix and Erin.
Erin was not ready to level up yet so Mater enough her. Solarix, however, had grown familiar with her power and was ready to become stronger.
Mater dropped the Chaos Spheres into her Infernal Shrines and raised her level.
Unfortunately, Solarix was already at the top of her games so her ability didn’t change much or did she acquire anything new. Her overall strength was raised.
Solarix also filled up her Pact Spells.
[Pact Spells]:
- Rank-1: Elemental Shield; Hellfire’s Sealed Pit; Alchemist’s Arrow; Desperation Scream; Corrupted Force.
The weekend arrived. People flooded to the AE Forges for the biggest LARPing event ever.
