The first rays of the early morning sunlight filtered through the curtains of the guest room where Alex had managed to carry Doris to last night, since he feared the risk of being walked on by one of the house attendants... Or worse, Nyx herself.

After letting out a deep primal groan as he filled her womb with his hot seed, Alex finally collapsed onto the bed, completely drained of strength. The both of them were currently breathing heavily while drenched in a thick layer of sweat.

Her expression was a complicated mix of emotions, from embarrassment, to confusion, to regret, to guilt, and then something deeper she refused to acknowledge. But in the end, her face settled back into its usual cold, indifferent mask.

"We shouldn’t have done this in the first place. All of this was just a mistake. So let’s forget about all this."

After saying that, Doris immediately turned and walked toward the door with a slight limp. She then made sure to close the door softly behind her.

Alex lay on the bed in silence for a few moments, staring at the ceiling with a complicated look in his eyes. A small sigh escaped his lips. From a reasonable stand view he understood her reaction.

Doris was someone who loyal to Nyx above all else. Now sleeping with the man of said someone who she was willing to lay down her life, if the need ever arises, must have made her feel extremely conflicted with herself.

Yet, even though he understood all that, he still couldn’t help feeling a little disappointed. Still, the night had been worth it.

The maid gave another small bow before leaving with graceful steps.

Alex sighed and relaxed against the luxurious seat of Nyx’s private jet as the flash back of what happened earlier ended.

They were already high in the sky, flying smoothly toward South Korea. Alex glanced at her, feeling a twinge of guilt in his heart for sleeping with someone close to her. But he suppressed it and dug into his own generous portion, after realizing just how hungry he was after the long night.

Meanwhile Nyx occasionally shifted her amber eyes toward him briefly before returning to her magazine. Alex pretended not to notice and focused entirely on eating the delicious food in front of him.

Soon he finally leaned back against the seat with satisfaction after finishing every last bit of food on his plate. Just as he closed his eyes to digest properly, he suddenly remembered that the system had been interrupted earlier by the maid.
