Bound to the eldritch Sea: SSS-Tier Navigator
Chapter 67: I Regret It
Nova’s voice reached Keston’s ears again.
This time, Keston only felt a burning pain on his face.
He raised his eyes and looked at Stephanie. At that moment, the hatred in his heart almost shot to its peak.
That bitch!
Kevin and his crew were all that strong, yet she had not told him!
Stephanie felt Keston’s angry glare and lowered her head with a bitter look.
She quietly opened a private channel and sent Keston a message: "Sorry. I only just found out they were this strong too."
When Keston saw Stephanie’s message, he became even angrier.
So from beginning to end, Stephanie had only been someone pushed to the edge in Kevin’s fleet. She could not get any core information at all.
Thinking of this, Keston took a deep breath.
He lifted his head and shouted loudly, "Kevin, come out and meet me! You’re a man, yet you sail with so many women. How can you face Bella? She’s your girlfriend!"
When the girls heard the gossip, they all perked up their ears.
"Who is Bella?" Celula seemed to have caught some juicy gossip. She excitedly stood on tiptoe and looked at Keston. "Hey, captain of that Spectral Corsair Vessel, what do you know? Say more. We love hearing this."
Keston gave a cold laugh. "Looks like you all care a lot about Kevin’s business. I’ll tell you. Kevin is just a playboy scumbag. He has a girlfriend, but he’s still messing around with you all. He has no sense of duty at all."
At this point, Keston raised his voice again. "Kevin! If you still don’t come out, I’ll accuse you in the world channel! I..."
Before he could finish, a black shadow suddenly cut across the sky.
Keston frowned. What was that thing?
Right after that, the Spectral Corsair Vessel shook hard, as if something had landed on the ship.
Keston trembled and turned his head to look. A giant dragon, ten meters long, was standing on his deck, staring at him with bright, sharp eyes.
Keston opened his mouth. "What the fuck is this monster?"
Suddenly, Kevin’s voice sounded from far away. "Didn’t you want to see me? Come forward and talk."
Hearing this, Keston forced his neck up. Only then did he realize that Kevin was standing on top of the giant dragon’s head, looking down at him like a god looking down at an ant.
Keston opened his mouth, but he found that his whole body was shaking, and he could not make a single sound.
He forced himself to calm down and slowly walked toward the giant dragon.
At this moment, the Spectral Corsair Vessel had already started to sink.
He sighed softly and looked up as he said, "Kevin, can I ask you to leave first? I need to repair my pirate ship right away."
Hearing this, Kevin smiled.
It seemed this Spectral Corsair Vessel was very important to Keston.
Kevin was also curious about what Keston wanted to do, so the Dragon FormMist Phantom under his feet shook its wings, and the man and dragon quickly rose into the air.
Seeing Kevin leave his deck, Keston let out a small breath of relief.
He ignored the wreckage before him and rushed straight back to his captain’s cabin. He opened the door, and the room was piled full of zombie corpses.
Keston carried the corpses onto his shoulders one by one, as if they were sacks.
After returning to the deck, he threw the corpses toward the bow at once.
Soon, a deep blue ghostly light rose from the center of the Spectral Corsair Vessel’s dark hull.
In the middle of that light floated a huge, writhing heart.
That heart sensed the two zombies falling into the sea, and in an instant, it shot out two tentacles and fished up the zombie bodies.
Right after that, more and more dense tentacles reached out, and all the wooden planks and splinters blown apart by Amelia’s big Fireball bullets were dragged back by them.
These tentacles put the wood pieces back together like building blocks.
The zombie bodies acted as glue.
Soon, the Spectral Corsair Vessel repaired its bow.
However, because of the battle just now, its total length had completely lost a section, a full twenty meters shorter.
When the girls on the Two-Masted Sloop saw this scene, they all frowned, and a wave of disgust rose in their hearts.
Monchhichi stared at the Spectral Corsair Vessel as it returned to its original shape, her face pale, and analyzed, "This Keston’s Talent ability is probably related to this Spectral Corsair Vessel. Or maybe he got his hands on some incredible Eldritch Artifact. Or perhaps this Spectral Corsair Vessel itself is an Eldritch Artifact."
Hearing this, Nova, who was beside her, also nodded. "For Keston to hold a place on the ranking list, he must have something special about him. I’m guessing those zombies are Survivors he killed before. Some of the strangely shaped zombies might even be Eldritch Entities."
When the girls heard that, they all took a step back, raising their guard to the highest level in their hearts and marking Keston as a dangerous person.
At the same time, Kevin stood on the back of the Dragon FormMist Phantom, his arms crossed over his chest, his face full of disappointment.
He had originally been looking forward to Stephanie bringing Bella here, so he could take his revenge.
But in the end, Stephanie did not bring Bella here. Instead, she brought one of Bella’s suitors.
And he was even a suitor more of a failure than himself, which made Kevin extremely annoyed.
In his previous life, this Keston had circled around Kevin and Bella like a fly.
Unfortunately, during one dangerous operation, in order to cover Bella, this guy rushed into the black curtain alone and fought those giant monsters, and he never came back.
Thinking of this, Kevin sighed. "What a poor man who just won’t let go."
Kevin rode the Dragon FormMist Phantom and returned to the deck of the Spectral Corsair Vessel.
This time, Kevin jumped straight onto the deck, walked up to Keston, and asked bluntly, "Who told you to come here?"
Keston froze for a moment. "Bella told me to come. She was worried about Stephanie being with you, so she told me to take Stephanie away."
Kevin frowned when he heard that. "So from beginning to end, you’ve been in contact with Stephanie? She gave you my coordinates."
Keston nodded. "That’s right. But this didn’t threaten you. You shouldn’t blame Stephanie."
Kevin sighed. "I don’t mean to blame Stephanie. I just want to know, where is Bella now?"
Hearing Kevin mention Bella, Keston immediately became alert. "You bastard, you really still love Bella in your heart! Then why are you messing with so many women behind her back?"
Keston pointed at the girls on the Two-Masted Sloop, and the look he gave Kevin was full of disappointment and contempt.
Was this guy misunderstanding something?
Kevin looked at Keston and kept feeling that something was strange. "Keston, I’m telling you clearly. I don’t love Bella, and I have nothing to do with her. Right now, I only want to find her. Do you understand what I mean?"
Keston suddenly gave him a look like he was staring at an idiot. "Kevin, do you take me for a fool? You’re saying on purpose that you don’t love Bella so I’ll let my guard down and take you to find Bella. Keep dreaming!"
When Kevin heard this nonsense, he directly slapped his forehead.
This Keston was a total madman. No, he was a damn idiot!
Thinking of this, Kevin no longer planned to waste words with Keston. He refused him outright. "Keston, you are not taking Stephanie away. If Bella is really worried about her sister, then let Bella come to me herself. When that time comes, I will personally send Stephanie away with Bella."
Kevin put extra weight on the word "away."
When Keston heard that, his face turned cold too. "Kevin, I’m warning you. Don’t think you can look down on everyone just because you have some strength. Don’t think I can’t see it. You’ve been abusing Stephanie this whole time. If you don’t let Stephanie leave with me today, I promise the gossip about you and these women will spread across the whole Terror Sea."
Kevin gave a cold laugh. "If you do that, then get ready for me to hunt you down to the ends of the earth. As for Stephanie..."
Kevin turned his head toward the Two-Masted Sloop. "Hey, Stephanie, Keston wants to take you away. Do you want to go?"
Keston had not expected Kevin to actually respect Stephanie’s own wishes.
He first nodded at Kevin, then turned to look at Stephanie. "Hey, Stephanie, we had a deal. I’ll take you to find your sister."
Stephanie stood on the deck, and in her heart, she already hated Keston to the extreme.
She clenched her fists and used all her strength to shout at Keston, "I’m not leaving! I’m doing great here! If I follow you, what kind of good life can I have? Will you turn me into a zombie?"
Keston froze when he heard that. Then he said, "Your sister asked me to take you away and look after you. I can take you to find your sister."
Stephanie laughed right away. "Find her? What would I find her for? Do you think she’s doing great right now? Keston, I regret it. Tell Bella that from now on, I belong to Kevin. If she’s not happy about it, then let her come find me herself."
Stephanie’s words made Keston freeze on the spot. "Damn it. I came all this way to find you and wasted the time I could have used to get stronger. And now you’re telling me you regret it? Are you and Bella playing me together?"
When Stephanie heard that, she took two steps back, her face pale. But very soon, she lifted her chin stubbornly and said, "That’s your own problem."
Keston was furious. He stomped hard on the ground. "Good! Very good!"
He turned his head and glanced at Kevin, then snorted coldly. "I didn’t expect you to be the kind of guy who even seduces his girlfriend’s little sister! Don’t think I can’t see it. Stephanie has fallen for you."
Kevin did not take Keston’s words to heart.
Stephanie’s performance just now had made Kevin very satisfied.
Maybe Bella would get so angry that she would come to find Stephanie herself. If that happened, Kevin would not have to waste more effort searching the sea for Bella’s trail.
Stephanie had done well today. Tonight, he could add a steak for her.
Kevin patted Keston on the shoulder, then turned and returned to the back of Dragon Form Mist Phantom. "Keston, we’ve already said everything we should and shouldn’t say very clearly. If there’s nothing else, then we’re going to keep sailing. I hope you won’t keep bothering us. Keep your distance from our team."
