Chapter 182: World Of Demons

"Enter."

The world of Demons was the instance Noah had chosen.

It belonged to a High Martial and Fantasy type world, one that carried a strong possibility of containing spirit veins.

[Advancement Instance : World Of Demons]

[Difficulty : Extremely Difficult]

[Task : Eliminate three High Level Demons]

[Content : In the two hundred fifteenth year of the Great Velmora Calendar, evil spirits began to appear, and traces of demons were first discovered. They hid among humans, feeding on the lives of the living. Whenever demons ran rampant, entire cities of hundreds of thousand were often without a single survivor, giving rise to countless bloody tragedies over the years.

The Great Velmora Dynasty gathered expert from both the court and the common people, establishing the Demon Suppression Division to eradicate these evils. However, instead of being contained, the disaster continued to worsen]

On a bustling street, Noah and the others appeared out of thin air.

"World of Demons... I feel like I’ve stepped into a horror movie."

Zara rubbed her arms, trying to shake off the chill creeping over her skin.

Noah paid her no attention and spoke calmly, "What are your tasks?"

"Are you worried that our tasks might be different?"

Claire was quick to understand. "My task is to eliminate three High Level Demons."

"Me too."

"Same here."

Noah let out a quiet breath of relief.

Back in the Mythical Three Kingdoms Red Cliff instance, their tasks had been different. But that had been due to his Talent sublimation, which set him apart from Rose and the others.

Under normal circumstances, entering an instance did not seem to result in differing tasks.

Since their objectives were aligned, things would be much easier to manage. Rose and the others only needed to focus on surviving and, if possible, earning as much contribution as they could.

As for the main task, Noah would handle it himself.

"What do you all think about this instance?" he asked.

"Uh... we should gather information first. Right now, we know almost nothing about these demons."

Leo spoke cautiously at first. Seeing that no one objected, his confidence grew a little.

In his original team, he had been the one giving orders and making decisions. But here, things were different. Leaving aside Noah, even Rose and the others were far stronger than him. It was only natural that he felt less assured.

Now that he realized the team was not bound by too many rigid rules, leo become gradually relaxed.

"I think we could try joining the Demon Suppression Division. Their understanding of demons should be quite extensive."

Aurora voiced her opinion.

"In the background, it says they recruited experts from both the court and the common people. That probably means there are powerful forces among the populace too, like major sects or similar groups. We could consider approaching them as well."

Olivia also added her thoughts.

One after another, everyone began to speak, sharing their ideas without hesitation.

"Is it possible for us to infiltrate the demons?"

Zara suddenly suggested, her eyes lighting up.

"From the description, demons don’t seem easy to find. If we could blend in with them, we might gather more information, maybe even locate the High level demons directly."

Rose shook her head, looking at her with a hint of exasperation.

It was obvious that Zara still had not let go of her desire to switch sides, something she had failed to do back in the Mythical Three Kingdoms Red Cliff instance.

"Captain, don’t shake your head just yet. Think about it. This world might not have things like blood oaths to restrict people, and we also have Ethan and Lily with us."

Zara spoke with confidence.

Hearing this, Rose paused, slightly taken aback.

She suddenly realized that their team was no longer limited to the original five. Lily and the others had already joined them. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

Lily’s Talent allowed her to read the memories of her target. As long as they captured a demon, she could extract its memories, making it far easier to avoid exposure.

As for Ethan, his Talent was SSS grade Body Control. He could not only manipulate his own strength with absolute precision, but also alter the shape of his body at will. Much like the legendary Seventy Two Transformations, he could take on the forms of other creatures.

This was not a mere disguise or illusion. It was a complete transformation, as though he had truly become another being.

Moreover, with his perfect control over his body, the strength he displayed after transforming was often even greater than that of the original creature, especially when combined with his skills.

Of course, this ability was limited to the physical body. Ethan could not replicate intangible aspects such as the soul. If the target relied on mystical or magical abilities, he would not be able to reproduce those powers.

Perhaps once his level increased further, or after his Talent underwent another transformation, Ethan might even be able to affect the soul. But that was a matter for the future.

Even so, his Talent was already incredibly powerful and held immense potential. If he obtained the body of a Fourth Order creature, he could likely wield a portion of Fourth Order strength.

As for a Fifth Order expert, that would be far more difficult. The gap between levels was simply too great. Even an SSS grade Talent had its limits.

"It’s worth trying."

Noah nodded, acknowledging Zara’s bold suggestion.

Soon, the group finalized their plans. Some would join the Demon Suppression Division, others would approach the major forces among the populace, and one group would attempt to infiltrate the demons.

They split into three teams, preparing to act from different directions.

"There is strength in numbers."

Watching their determined expressions, Noah could not help but sigh softly. With such capable teammates, many complications could be avoided. All he really needed to do was focus on killing.

"It’s just a pity we don’t know when we’ll actually encounter demons."

Ethan shook his head. The other two groups would likely make progress quickly, but his side depended on chance. They had to wait for demons to appear before they could capture one and put their plan into motion.

There was a real possibility that the other groups would already achieve results while they had yet to even begin.

"If everything goes as expected, we’ll be seeing demons very soon."

Noah glanced at the bustling street outside as he spoke, his tone calm and certain.
