Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates

Chapter 281: Finally, Boar Coat

Translate to

Anna was finally done skinning the wild boar.

She alternated between it, and the campfire. She realized that she had tired herself out so much this morning, that the few slices of meat she ate burned in her body as if they were gone in minutes!

One pound of meat in, and she was still hungry!

"God damn, I would've never expected that boar meat would feel so light." She said.

It was a challenge no doubt, but she finished the task she dedicated three hours on!

Initially she expected it to take longer, and it should've taken longer, as she was not experienced in skinning boars, or any animals, for that matter, but she rushed the process.

The Vampiric Parrots pissed her off so much that she no longer cared to preserve the hide as much as possible. She simply cut through the fat, clenching her stone knife so hard that her hand was bleeding.

She got even more pissed when her former knife got stuck in the boar. She didn't even bother getting it out, and grabbed another one.

Jimmy healed her from the background, as he didn't want to wait around for her adrenaline rush to die down. He knew she'd very much feel the pain of cut fingers in mere seconds, and made sure she could avoid it. He constantly observed her heartbeat, all the way from the comfort of the fire, and in a way, she behaved like her guardian angel.

Anyway, even though she rushed the process, the coat turned out well. There were some holes across the back part, which she was sure she could knit together, but other than that, the rest of the coat was decent, because she had been careful throughout half of the skinning.

Anna put the coat on, hanging its head on her own, using it as a hat. By wearing the hat, she didn't need to do much to keep the coat on her body, because it hung from her head, following her around like a large cape. A trophy cape, but badass nonetheless! π—³π—Ώπžπ•–π˜„π—²π•“π—»πš˜πšŸπ•–π₯.πšŒπ• π•ž

"Wow, you look awesome!" Jimmy was quick to compliment her, "Good job!"

Anna smiled. Her mood started leaning towards the better side.

"That'll keep you warm," Almara said, "I've swam in the river during winter before, and I know how cold it can get."

"Well, the water is cold throughout most of the year, but thanks," She nodded.

Afterwards, she added, "I should let the coat dry though, and it would be best if it dried indoors. The city folk wouldn't mind if I stashed it in the safehouse, right?"

"We're far out from the city," Almara said, "The only people who come here are the ones that bring water, and even they wouldn't come this far out here that often. They come every time the seasons change, maybe?"

"We'll be back here by then," She said, "We have a few weeks before winter comes, maybe? If we don't come back by then, I hope the damn water delivery boy doesn't touch my coat."

"They wouldn't care," Almara followed along, "The city folks are single minded about their jobs. If they're supposed to bring water, they'll bring water, and they won't do anything else."

"Good," She nodded.

Anna wanted to wear the coat now, but it stank of fat. She ripped the coat out along with its skin, so its odor was not a surprise. Other than getting rid of the smell, she knew that the coat would last longer if it dried well. She wanted to keep it for many winters, as the situation had it, this was the coolest thing she has ever owned.

"Don't know how I'll get it out of here without getting the coat wet, but…" She muttered.

"There is another exit, but it's even further away." Almara added.

"Oh?" She cocked her head back, "Where?"

"On the opposite side of the underworld, really," Almara answered, "If we followed the wall close to our home lake, we'd get to the exit. It's far, but after we get to it, you can tame a dinosaur, and fly home."

"Fly home?" Jimmy repeated, "Is it past the rocky mountain?"

"Pretty much," Almara nodded, "Past the mountain, past the forest, and near the sea."

"Oh, I know that place well," Anna smiled, "That's where we get our salt from. It has to be close, at least."

Anna was half-set on her plan regarding the coat. She wouldn't mind walking across the underworld to preserve her coat, but since she didn't know if Jimmy and Almara minded, she decided to cross that bridge when she got there. It was in the far future.

For now, she headed in the safehouse, and laid out the coat flat. It was a solid two meters long, and almost as wide. It was a big coat, it dragged across the ground when she wore it, but she figured she could fashion the bottom-part into fur pants if she used enough string vines to tie the thing together.

Again, this was a bridge that she would cross in the future, but she knew that she'd be warm this winter.

"I hope the air has an exit point here," She said, "Hate to be the guy to walk into a stink cloud."

Anna then walked out, satisfied with her work, closing the door.

As she slipped through the slit that separated the bunker from the jungle, she was met with a horrid sight! One she did not fully expect, and that froze her on the spot too!

"No!" She shouted.

Courage was the one thing she didn't lack, but when she saw Jimmy being overwhelmed by some sort of massive, feathered bird, pinned down underneath it, she feared that he just may die, seconds before she could've even done anything to help!

Anna pushed through the horrid fear of losing him, as best as she could, and rushed forward.

"Jimmy!" She shouted, "Fight back!"

Jimmy tried to fight back, and certainly, he didn't have to be told to do so. He threw out punches, hitting the bird on the head, but its head was as big as his, and he mainly tried to avoid its beak!
