The depths of a good night's sleep had benefits.

Jimmy had been asleep for a solid twelve hours, after all the work he had put in to keep his people safe, but even within the depths of his sleep, he could feel his body recovering. He could feel himself getting better, and of course, he woke up fully rested.

He was surprised to figure out that he had slept way past the crack of dawn. He didn't expect to sleep this long, although the hours it took him to recover were quite valid, he expected to sleep ten hours at most, rather than twelve.

He could tell that he had slept long, because even though they were deep within a cave, stashed somewhere close to their home cavern, and its associated tunnels, there were still fragments of light keeping the place illuminated. For that matter, he knew that he had woken up a couple of hours after the break of dawn.

Anyway, moments after he woke up, he checked on his girlfriends, simply because he wanted to see if they were alive. He felt their bellies, and as their bellies rose and retracted, hinting that they were breathing, he could tell for sure that they were alive. Asleep, but alive.

"I woke up before you ladies, eh?" He asked, though his question was rhetorical, so he kept his voice low, so as to not wake them up, "I suppose you earned a good night's rest."

After making sure that they were alive and well, he got a pinch in his gut that made him greatly anxious again.

He leaped out of bed, lit up one of the hand-held torches that they had extinguished the night before, and immediately headed towards the bunker door. The cave was not well-lit enough for him to have a good look of his surroundings, so he had to bring the torch with him.

"No…" He held his breath in, confused, and brewing a pot of anger within his gut. "How… why?"

Jimmy was stunned to discover that the bunker door that he had put so much effort to break through, or 'penetrate', was now fixed, somehow?

He immediately guessed that the aliens fixed the door, but everything surrounding the matter got him confused.

He could not understand how the aliens had been quiet enough to fix, or from the looks of it, replace a whole steel door, which likely weighed a few tons, without making much of a sound! They did it overnight, obviously, but he figured that there had to be some point along the night where they'd make enough noise for him, or his girlfriends to hear them, wake up, and react.

It did not make sense that they managed to replace it so quickly. Other than that, he was steaming over the fact that he was locked out of the bunker he very much treasured, and would likely need to put a lot of work in to get through it again. Not to mention, he would also have to fight a bundle of aliens that took refuge within the bunker.

"It's not fair…" He winced, and a tear rolled down his eye, for the first time ever since he had transmigrated in this horrendous world. "I earned it… I earned that bunker!"

The little commotion he caused, finally managed to wake someone up. Eni, out of all people, woke up from her deep slumber, saw Jimmy, and walked towards him. She was too drowsy to understand what was going on, but even she recognized that the door had changed its appearance.

With that said, she asked, "Why did you heal the door, Jimmy?"

"I didn't," He ripped a few strands of hair as he jerked his arms down, frustrated, but then again, he didn't want to hurt Eni in any way, including emotionally, so he then added, "I can't heal doors, sweetheart. That would be impossible."

"Okay," She said.

Afterwards, she walked back towards the bed, and fell asleep. She was still tired, apparently, and after she made sure that everyone was okay, she had no reason to hover around anymore.

Jimmy was frustrated, but that cute little display of confusion managed to make him feel a bit better. Even in his worst condition, he could not resist the charms of the sweet brunette that loved him, and he loved back.

"She had a long day… yesterday." He said to himself, "I wonder if she's hungry?"

Despite the frustration, Jimmy wanted to do the sweet thing and not interrupt his girlfriends while they were sleeping. After he muttered over the matter of the bunker door for a few more minutes, he even considered abandoning the issue all together for a moment, so he could greet his girlfriends with breakfast in bed. They deserved to be pampered, as each and every one of them had put plenty of work in yesterday.

He was aware of that, so he finally decided that he should prepare breakfast for them, but as he started walking away, Anna woke up. She too was drowsy, as she had slept a solid twelve hours, but as she took a look around, and noticed Jimmy walking away from the steel door, she rubbed her eyes, and focused her attention on him a bit more, and this was when she noticed that something weird was going on.

She saw the steel door behind him, and when she noticed that the door looked different, she started panicking! She quickly stood up, walked away from the ground-level fur bed, and rushed towards Jimmy.

"What happened?" She asked, "Are you okay?"

Afterwards, she looked back at their shared bed, and asked, "Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah," He nodded, and squished her droopy face cheeks, "We're all okay, don't worry."

"What happened to the door?" She then insisted.

After Jimmy caught her up with what was going on, mostly based on his assumptions, really, Anna began sharing his sour emotions. Although she did not care much for it, she knew how important the bunker was to Jimmy, so she felt for him, and she tried to make him feel better.

She said, "The aliens didn't even bother with us, eh? They could've killed us while we were in a deep sleep, but they didn't see us as a threat? How about we use that to our advantage, and give them a knock of a lifetime?"

Jimmy walked back to the door, and Anna followed suit. He knocked at the door, not to mock her idea, but for the sake of clarity. He wanted her to hear what the door sounded like, as he had noticed a key detail in regards to the door, a couple of minutes before Anna woke up.

"They reinforced it," He said, "It looks like steel, but I'm guessing it's mixed with something else."

Afterwards, he added, "I don't know if I could break through it again, and besides, I don't feel like jerking off in front of the door for a full hour right now. I'm hungry, and I'm sure you are too."

"I am…" She took a sharp breath, and then grabbed him by the crotch, "Who said that you had to jerk yourself off? You have four girlfriends, dumbass."

"Right," He blushed.

However, just like a man who had barely any idea how to act around women that wanted him, regardless of the fact that he has had sex with all of them already, he ruined the mood by making a frantic pitch.

"I don't think we'll be able to break the door, but if you're up for a fight, I know another entrance to the bunker." He pitched.

"I suppose," She sighed, frustrated that her needs were not being met, and so she pulled her hand away from his crotch.

"You're sweet," He smiled.

However, before their wonderful conversation could've continued any further, they heard a sudden explosion!

The explosion was muffled, but as the cave they were in started shaking afterwards, they started fearing for their lives! They were frozen in place, and didn't know what to do!

Jimmy was quite aware that if either he, or his girlfriends were crushed within a cave collapse, neither of them would have the chance to return to their past check-point. Other than him and Mika, the rest of them didn't have a check-point to begin with, but in his case, he wouldn't be able to make use of his check-point even if he wanted to. The fixed door prevented him from doing so, and for that matter, no one could revive him.

"Let's get out of here!" Anna grabbed him by the arm, and they started running away.

She finally gained the courage to do something, and she was fully intending to wake up the girls as well, but as they dashed, the tiny earthquake that rattled their cave, stopped.

As the two of them tried to make sense of what was going on, the ladies woke up, and they seemed equally confused.

Anna looked at Jimmy, and asked, "Was that the bunker?"
