Loki looked at the world in his bubble with keen eyes. He liked to look at the world he had created since it brought him much joy and peace.

But today, something felt different. He could feel foreign powers clashing in his world, trying to tear it apart from the inside.

He did not like this and quickly looked around for the source.

Finding Kaiden was easy. He was not trying to hide himself either, and his power rolled off him easily. But that was not what was de-stabilizing the world.

So he followed the other source of power and found Shuu...who was bound and agitated.

His power was starting to leak out and crack, and it won’t be long before he won’t be able to handle it and erupt. It was the worst-case scenario, and Loki needed to interfere now if he was going to save his world.

But when he tried to use his power, he found that he could not do that. Something was preventing him from being able to help Shuu out. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

That familiar power gathered around Shuu, but it was slowly starting to infect his world as well.

"Astoria, you are playing a dangerous game with me. Don’t you dare continue like this, or I—"

Loki growled as he sensed the rise of the familiar power. He wanted to push Astoria’s power out, but he also knew that she had sunk herself too deep into his world.

To push her out, he would have to go in himself and do some deep cleaning.

"It is time for me to become part of my own game. I am sure the others will have fun once they see who has decided to join them."

Loki sighed softly before he stepped inside his own world. His form warped until it settled on a soft but beautiful face. He looked like a T.V. model, with his delicate features and soft skin.

Someone whistled at him as soon as they saw him on the street and walked over.

"Oh wow—! You’re cute. Are you a guide? If so, wanna become my partner? I can—"

Loki threw the other man away using his powers, and the unnamed esper collided with the building wall before he was knocked unconscious. His friend looked scared after witnessing Loki’s powers, and he trembled.

"H-Hey, calm down. M-My friend was just joking around with you. We a-aren’t even espers, so why would we want to be guided...? A-Anyway, we should get going now."

Loki nodded as he watched them leave. He did not have time to waste on these fools anyway, so he was not worried. He had bigger fish to fry at the moment.

Adding his name to the list of S-ranked espers was easy. He just needed to flick his finger, and not only did his name appear on the list, but he also had the gold invite from the Society of Esper Welfare.

With this, he was ready to meet Shuu and have a small talk with him and Kaiden.

"Boss, are you sure about this? I know that we have been planning this for some time now, but isn’t this too dangerous? He’s not exactly cooperating with us?"

"Idiot—! That’s why we called out regulars first. They can make him obey first, and then we can reap the benefits. You are worrying about unnecessary things. Just relax and allow your big brother here to handle things for you."

Strained voices reached Shuu’s ears as he tried his best to do more. He knew that the kidnappers wanted something from him, but he was not sure what they wanted.

So far, three people had tried to make him guide them, but they had ended up in critical situations both times. But it was likely because they were low-level people.

What if more people were to come and cause trouble? Surely that would become a problem, right?

’What should I do now? Should I try and make a run for it once more?’

While Shuu was thinking about all this, the kidnapper walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. He sounded far too happy for Shuu’s liking, and he did not have a good feeling about it.

"Hey kid—! There’s some good news for you. Your first S-class customer is here. Make sure to behave, or who knows what could happen to you."

The kidnapper reminded Shuu before he stood up and left. Seconds later, the space in front of Shuu was occupied by someone else, and rough hands touched his face.

"Kek! So this is the guide you all boasted about? He’s sure got a pretty face. But does he guide just as well? We shall see."

The hand started to move all over, and it felt uncomfortable.

The esper waited for Shuu to start guiding, but when nothing happened, he expressed his dissatisfaction.

"Hey, he’s not guiding—"

"S-Sir, he needs some ’gentle’ motivation because he’s so green. If you don’t mind, then can you—"

"Oh! You should have just told me that he was a bitch, and I would have understood. I will do what I want now, so stay back."

The man decided before Shuu felt something trying to force his powers out. He tried to hold back, but the push felt too much, and a small amount slipped out.

"Ohhhh—! This is some good stuff. I now see why you demanded such a high price. I will enjoy this—"

The second that the kidnapper let his guard down, Shuu started to pull his energy back. He was not going to let himself be exploited.

"Ah, this feels good... No wait—! It’s starting to hurt. H-Hey, what are you doing? Stop pulling right now or else... it hurts—! Stop—! I said stop—!"

The man cried out and tried to take control of the situation, but it was too late. Shuu had already regained control and, with much effort, regained the upper hand in this situation.

The esper in front of him collapsed, but Shuu was not in perfect condition either.
