[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel
Chapter 379: The Unexpected Visitor
The Emperor paced back and forth in his room. He had both hands behind him as the Empress knelt down at the corner close to the bed.
Her face was bruised, her hair disheveled. She looked a mess after all she had gone through in the place he had sent her. She stared up at him with a gasp. "You... Where is my daughter...? What... what did you do to her...?"
The Emperor stared down at her with a grim expression. He scoffed. "I’ve already told you to shut up. You’re so noisy... I’m trying to think here."
She glared at him. "You can do all you want to me... I don’t care..." She was struggling to breathe out words. "But I’ll never let you off if you harm my daughter!"
He scoffed. "And what are you going to do about it? Kill me?" He laughed.
The Empress stared at him with contempt. "You’re not the man I fell in love with! You’re not the man I love...!"
He scoffed with a sigh. "I never claimed to be." He turned with a smirk. "But you don’t have to worry much. Soon it’ll all come to an end. I’ll get what I want soon." He smiled. "I’ll finally get it..."
The Empress knelt there, struggling to keep herself together. "My daughter... my daughter..."
Just then, a guard walked into the room and stared at him. The Emperor met his eyes and let out a soft scoff. "Well, I guess he’s here faster than expected." He then turned to stare at the Empress with a smirk. "Don’t worry, you’ll soon see your dear daughter."
---
The Emperor stepped out into his courtroom in the company of some of his guards. He had a smug smirk on his face while coming to meet Eden.
He already had it planned out. And he was certain everything was going to work out for him. But as soon as he arrived, his smile faded.
The person he saw wasn’t the one he was expecting to see at all. He didn’t see Eden as he thought he would. Rather, he saw Felix.
The Emperor scoffed. "You? And what the hell are you doing here...?" He demanded.
Felix had his head high, his blue hair neat and gleaming, which blended perfectly with his elegant blue attire and deep black eyes. He didn’t look like someone who had gone missing for days now. He looked regal in all possible ways.
He smiled. "Why? I decided to pay you a visit. Shouldn’t you be happy to see me, Kyle?" He spoke so confidently that the Emperor instantly got pissed.
"You’ve got quite the nerve to appear here after everything and even refer to me by my name. Don’t you fear your fate while coming here?" He demanded.
Felix had a relaxed expression as he smiled. "And why should I? I’ve already lost everything... so what else should I fear more...?" He stared at Kyle. "And since I have nothing else to lose, I thought I might as well pay you a visit and have some discussion with you."
Kyle raised an eyebrow, both hands behind him. "And what could we possibly have to talk about now?"
Felix scoffed as he casually strolled around the courtroom, running his fingers over the wall in admiration. "You should already be aware of what happened to my dad..."
"I’m pretty sure you’ve used him until you were satisfied and made his life hell enough... Isn’t that so?"
Kyle simply stared at him. "So? What do you want? Revenge?" He laughed. "Don’t tell me you’re here to get revenge for someone like him. I’m pretty sure you know all he did. You know what happened. You’re no longer the innocent one from back then who didn’t know anything, are you?"
Felix was calm as he kept running his fingers through the wall. And then he said with a scoff, "Don’t worry. I know everything..." He paused and turned to stare at Kyle. "Even all you’ve done to Eden back then."
Kyle smiled. "Is that so? So let me guess, you’re here to fight for your loved one? You’re here to avenge him?" He said, laughing.
But Felix kept a calm expression. When he was done laughing, Felix said, "All I have to say is pretty simple. Give up. Eden won’t be coming here today. So don’t even wait for him."
The Emperor was calm for a while as he stared at him. He smiled as he slowly approached him. "So I have to get past you for your dear lover to show up, right?"
Felix stared at him. "I wish you were smarter than that. But anyways, I’ll fill you in. Even if you tear me apart into pieces or I do the same, no one is coming. Not Eden, no one." He smiled. "So anything happening between me and you today is solely between us."
Kyle smiled. "I like how confident you are. It comes off as dumb. But at least you’re firm." He sighed as he turned back, both hands behind him. "Too bad you were never meant to live in my will. You were going to die anytime soon..." He sighed. "And now wouldn’t make a difference."
The Emperor instantly turned and flicked his fingers toward Felix. Tiny red pins flew toward him.
Alert, Felix twirled immediately and brushed them off with the cape of his clothes. And then he stretched out his hands. A blue sword appeared in them. Felix held onto the blue sword firmly as he waved it at Kyle.
Blue sparks from the sword flew at the Emperor, snapping at his feet as he stepped backward.
He stood firm as he stared down at the spark and then stared up at Felix, who was holding onto the sword, ready to attack.
The Emperor smiled. "Interesting. I guess you’ve finally learned how to use that power of yours. One that doesn’t even fully belong to you." He scoffed. "But that doesn’t matter at all. I can still take back whatever that old hag gave to you."
