Li Muyang, Wei Jing and Sage Chen had left, leaving the rest in the capital to discuss the matter nonstop. The clouds of dark omen hovering above Nullity got even heavier instead of scattering.

"Sister, where are you going?" Mu Lang blamed himself somewhat for how things ended up.

Mu Qingqing turned back with displeasure. "I'm going back to Violetmoon Chaos Star Ruin."

"Did you inform the imperial sons about this matter?"

"I don't need you to tell me that."

"Don't feel that bad. If you console the young imperial son more, there's definitely going to be hope."

"Console him my ass! He'd be overjoyed to hear this news," Mu Qingqing said, rolling her eyes.

"What?"

"I can't be bothered to explain." Mu Qingqing was the only one who was unworried about it. In fact, she felt outright pissed. She left Nullity and went to Violetmoon Fortress, arriving faster than news of what happened just now.

Right as she entered, Li Tianzi asked, "What's the news?"

"One moment. Where's your little brother?" Mu Qingqing asked.

"In seclusion. Does this have anything to do with him?"

"Yes."

"Let's go get him, then." The both of them ventured deep into the fortress to interrupt Tianming as he was absorbing dazzling radiance.

"What? Nobody's going to attack?" Tianming asked. 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

"Not here, at least, but a thousand primocosmic gods including Imperator Jian and Yueling Xiao went to put pressure on Nullity," Mu Qingqing said.

"What else?"

"Father wanted to send them off by angering them and was prepared to fight a war here on the Inverse Battlefield. But then, the Adjudicator descended."

"Adjudicator?" Tianming blinked blankly.

"He's a god of chaos that has existed since ancient times, covered in mystery. Normally, he seems detached from worldly affairs, but when he does get his hands on something, the starcages in the Realm of Chaos fall in line with his word. You seem to be wary of him too," Mu Qingqing said, looking at Li Tianzi.

"Indeed," he agreed.

"Does he have some kind of number that symbolizes him? Like, three or eight of something?" Tianming asked.

Stunned, Mu Qingqing said, "He looks like a red sphere with eight eyes of blood... or are they ears of blood? I don't really know what they are."

"Eight?" Tianming knew that he must be one of the numbered entities that Lingfeng had warned him about. However, he didn't quite know his full name.

"What did the Adjudicator say?" Li Tianzi asked.

Mu Qingqing briefed them on how the bet formed. "The entirety of Nullity is panicking right now."

Tianming's expression was ecstatic. "Did your dad want me to challenge everyone under the age of a hundred thousand alone?"

"Are you even able to enter the Ruinless Zone?" Li Tianzi asked.

"I already told you that I might not necessarily be related to all of you. In the Realm of Order, I am nothing but a handsome young lad under the tender age of five hundred. Why can't I enter?" Tianming said.

"Then you truly have been born again..." Li Tianzi looked at the skypole stars and was overjoyed. "With the skypole stars, even if you fight alone, we can't lose at the very least! As for when we're going to win, it isn't a problem since there's no time limit for the fight. I guess we'll eventually emerge victorious..."

Tianming didn't even know how to feel about it. "Does your dad always do reckless things like this?"

Li Tianzi shrugged. "Not before, at least. I have a feeling he picked this up from you. He's usually really stern and doesn't mess around."

"Alright." Tianming smiled but his face suddenly stiffened. "Wait, he even stipulated that the concubines must bear me children? Then it isn't just a marriage in name. Are we really going through with this?"

"Isn't this what you wanted all along?" Mu Qingqing said.

"On the contrary! I'm not into old hags," Tianming snapped.

"They're not that old. The youngest one, Imperator Long, isn't much older than you are. As for Imperator Ji, her offspring wasn't borne of a man. Instead, she created the child on her own. All four of them are unmarried and strikingly beautiful," Mu Qingqing said, pouting.

"This situation is all kinds of messed up..." Tianming didn't know how to react. This bet was way too much!

"Let's start packing up. We need to make it to the Ruinless Zone within a month, so we don't have much time," Mu Qingqing said.

"Very well." Tianming had to fight for his own sake now that Li Muyang had used him as a betting chip. There was no running from it. At the very least, he had all the time he needed to win. Turning to Li Tianzi, he asked, "Accepting the bet means the Adjudicator has mediated the issue. Does that mean that Violetmoon Fortress will no longer be attacked? You'll be there to support me, right?"

"Yueling Starcage and the violetblitzians will no doubt send tens of billions of cosmic gods there. But we can't send too many troops there to decrease the risk of open conflict. At the very least, I can take you there personally and see it for myself."
