"We've been breached. Prepare for the breach protocol. I also want you to contact reinforcements from other places. Get down there and set up a line of defense to stop them."

"But can we actually stop Mara Leverstrike, sir?" Steve wasn't so sure after seeing how powerful Mara was.

"No. Just slow them down. I will lead the team down once we're able to go down. Get ready to charge fast."

Steve nodded. "Understood."

Without wasting any time, he began preparing for the pursuit. He contacted all the relevant parties for the next step, including the president.

Carrick, on the other hand, didn't expect Clovis to outwit him. He first fooled him by assassinating his family members.

If this matter were known, it would be seen as the Libation Fiesta defeating them. Besides, there was no proof of the murder, so if he blamed the Libation Fiesta for this assassination, they could try to sue him, which made the situation even worse for the Melesviet family.
