Chapter 22: A Spring, A Well, and A Jealous Wife

"System, show me her first ability," I said.

Then a blue translucent window immediately appeared before me.

I then explained the ability to Aurielle as well.

Aurielle’s expression changed when she heard that. Suddenly, Aurora seemed much more pleasing to her eyes.

However, her mouth fell completely open when I told her about the Time Chamber, Mana Well, and Healing Spring.

Aurielle looked at me suspiciously.

At that moment, the system’s mocking voice rang out.

I ignored the system’s ridicule and Aurielle suspicous gaze.

With that, she led us deeper into the mansion.

All the guards and maids greeted us respectfully as we passed by.

After walking for nearly five minutes, we finally reached the basement alongside Aurora.

"Here."

Aurielle stopped.

I looked around and realized it was some sort of treasury.

Ten Iron Knights stood guard around the area, while numerous magic circles glowed faintly across the walls and floor.

The moment they saw Aurielle, all ten knights knelt at once.

"At ease," Aurielle ordered calmly.

The knights immediately stood back up and returned to their positions.

The guards pushed open a massive metal door.

The heavy gate slowly swung inward with a deep metallic groan.

The three of us entered together, though I noticed several guards giving both me and Aurora curious looks.

Inside, stacks of armor, gold coins, silver coins, and various expensive treasures were neatly stored.

Aurielle then guided us toward a special hidden room.

"Here."

I followed her gaze and finally noticed a nearly invisible door hidden within the silver-colored wall.

"Okay."

Stepping forward, I gave the command.

"System, use the Time Chamber."

An intense surge of energy erupted from the hidden door.

Dark ripples spread across its surface like black ink swallowing silver metal.

The entire door gradually transformed into a pitch-black gate.

Then—

An Infinity Symbol slowly appeared upon its surface.

Countless tiny words formed its shape, endlessly shifting and moving.

I couldn’t understand a single one of them.

Yet merely looking at them made my head feel slightly dizzy.

Without warning, the gate swung open by itself.

Beyond it was a long black tunnel stretching into the unknown.

I looked toward Aurielle and Aurora.

The next second, I felt a murderous gaze coming from my right side.

I wisely chose to ignore it.

Then the three of us stepped into the tunnel.

The world around us blurred.

For a few moments, only darkness remained.

Then a brilliant light suddenly flooded our vision.

Instinctively, all of us closed our eyes.

When I finally opened mine again—

I froze.

A small world stretched before us.

A shining sun hung high in the sky.

Mountains rose in the distance.

Rivers flowed across vast plains.

Green grass swayed beneath the wind.

Forests stretched toward the horizon.

And standing quietly at the center of it all was a small wooden hut.

"Wow..."

I heard both Aurora and Aurielle gasp in amazement.

Honestly, I felt the same.

"I can already feel that the mana here is denser than outside."

Aurielle slowly walked forward while touching the grass beneath her feet.

"It’s even higher than the cultivation chambers in the royal palace."

Her voice was filled with disbelief.

The earth split apart.

Massive chunks of soil and stone rose from below.

The Mana Well rose first.

Then the Healing Spring followed.

The sight was both majestic and overwhelming.

"That was scary..."

Aurielle muttered while tightly clinging to me.

I looked down at her and couldn’t help but smile.

"How cute."

Then I looked toward the structure.

The Mana Well stood at the center of a circular stone platform carved from pale silver-blue stone.

Ancient runes glowed faintly along the edge of the platform, pulsing rhythmically like a heartbeat.

The well itself was constructed from smooth white stone that seemed untouched by time.

Instead of ordinary water, a swirling pool of liquid mana rested within it.

The liquid shimmered in shades of blue, violet, and silver, constantly rotating in slow circles.

Tiny particles of light drifted upward from the well like fireflies, disappearing several meters above the surface.

A cool breeze carrying rich mana spread continuously from the structure.

Even standing nearby made my mind feel clearer and my body lighter.

Around the well, patches of grass appeared noticeably greener than the surrounding land.

Small flowers bloomed naturally between the stones, nourished by the dense mana radiating from its core.

The deeper I looked into the well, the harder it became to tell whether I were staring at liquid mana... or an endless star-filled sky hidden beneath the surface.

Soon, both Aurora and Aurielle rushed toward the Mana Well.

They immediately crouched beside it and dipped their hands into the glowing liquid mana to test it.

Aurielle even scooped up a handful and tasted it.

The moment it touched her tongue, her eyes lit up.

"Luke, come taste it! I’ve never tasted such pure liquid mana before!"

She waved excitedly at me.

I smiled and walked over to them.

As I reached the well, I lowered my hand into the shimmering liquid.

"It’s cold..."

The moment my fingers touched it, I felt a pleasant chill spread across my skin.

The liquid mana flowed between my fingers like water, yet felt far lighter and smoother.

Curious, I brought a small amount to my mouth and tasted it.

The moment it touched my tongue, I froze.

At its center stood a beautiful white stone fountain engraved with delicate leaf-shaped patterns and ancient life runes.

A continuous stream of crystal-clear water flowed from the top of the fountain, cascading down into the spring below.

The water carried a gentle emerald and golden glow, releasing countless specks of green light as it flowed.

Unlike ordinary water, it seemed alive.

Soft ripples spread across the surface of the spring even without wind, as if responding to the life energy constantly pouring into it.

The pool surrounding the fountain was several meters wide and perfectly clear, allowing the bottom to be seen despite its depth.

The spring was surrounded by smooth white stones polished by nature, forming a beautiful natural basin.

Vines covered with small silver flowers wrapped around the edges, while vibrant grass and blooming plants spread outward in every direction.

The air around the spring felt noticeably different.

Warm and comforting.

Simply standing nearby made exhaustion fade from my body.

Aurielle immediately narrowed her eyes and leaned closer to Aurora’s ear.

"Did you just tch?" she asked in a cold voice.

Aurora was startled by the sudden voice beside her ear.

"No, miss. Why would I do that?" she replied innocently.

But Aurielle remained suspicious.

*"Did that goddess really send her to steal my husband?"* she thought.

Before she could question her further, Luke’s voice rang out from the spring.

"Both of you come here and take a bath as well! It feels amazing!"

Aurielle turned toward Luke.

He was already submerged in the spring and waving excitedly at them.

Reluctantly, she removed her hands from Aurora’s eyes.

As the two of them walked toward the spring, Aurora suddenly heard Aurielle’s threatening voice.

"Don’t you dare go fully nude."

Aurora paused slightly.

Aurielle walked past her while giving her a deadly glare.

Then, without hesitation, she removed her own clothes and jumped into the spring.

SPLASH.

"Gulp."

Aurora swallowed nervously.

After a moment, she removed everything except her innerwear and jumped in as well.

SPLASH.

"Wow, this feels great!"

Both Aurielle and Aurora exclaimed after submerging themselves in the spring.

The healing water immediately began reducing their fatigue while slowly healing hidden injuries throughout their bodies.

"Right?" I said with a grin.

A moment later, I heard Aurielle’s excited voice.

"Husband! We can sell this and become rich!"

I turned toward her.

She was currently drinking the healing water directly from the fountain.

"Hmm... right."

I looked toward the Mana Well and the Healing Spring.

Both of them had tremendous potential.

"Fine, we’ll do it. But first we need to check the production rate. It doesn’t seem infinite."

I nodded while explaining.

Aurielle happily hugged me in response.

"Feels good" I muttered as her breast directly touched my chest.

Aurielle smiled mischievously before moving even closer and then she used her hands to touch my little brother.

"Damn, you’re in a good mood," I said as I kissed her.

Meanwhile, Aurora watched her master and his crazy wife fooling around together.

For some reason, the atmosphere made her body feel strangely warm.

Then she muttered in a very low voice.

"I want to do that as well."
