After Divorce, She Became a Global Sensation and Won't Forgive Her Groveling Husband and Son
Chapter 107: Unworthy in Every Way
"President Grant."
Jack Holloway had been standing at a distance.
Seeing that Vincent Grant still hadn’t moved long after Sophia Shaw had left, he couldn’t help but walk over.
"Our partners are waiting to sign the contract. If we don’t leave now, we’ll be late."
Vincent Grant snapped back to his senses. He took the contract from Jack Holloway, his eyes scanning several lines at once, and quickly finished reading it.
As he handed the contract back, he asked, "Did Sophia Shaw come looking for me while I was in confinement?"
Jack Holloway froze for a second.
"No."
’Sophia Shaw never came to the door herself, but she did send a lawyer.’
’A divorce lawyer, he said.’
’Jack Holloway believed Sophia couldn’t possibly bear to leave Vincent Grant. Sending a lawyer was just a way to create tension and get Vincent’s attention.’
’It was just like before, when she submitted application after application to transfer to the rocket division, all so she could cling to Vincent Grant every day.’
’In Jack Holloway’s eyes, Sophia Shaw was completely immature.’
’Just causing trouble!’
’Vincent Grant hated people who made a mess of things, so it was better not to mention it.’
Hearing Jack Holloway say no, Vincent Grant’s brow furrowed.
"Is there any paperwork between me and Sophia Shaw that hasn’t been taken care of?"
’Sophia’s line about "getting the necessary paperwork done" was strange and unsettling.’
Jack Holloway thought for a moment. "It’s probably the issue with the child’s household registration. Miss Sherman’s daughter is registered under your name. Since the two children are around the same age, it’s difficult to register another one."
"Find a way to get it done," Vincent Grant said.
’Even though Sophia adopted the child without his consent, since she was already part of the family, he would accept it.’
’It could also be considered a small compensation for that child.’
Jack Holloway secretly curled his lip in disdain.
’Sophia Shaw is so much trouble!’
’Making such a fuss over an adopted daughter.’
But he still said, "Yes, sir."

「In the private room.」
The workaholics, who were usually too busy to even bat an eye, were gathered together, all raising their glasses to Sophia Shaw.
"I never would have guessed! Boss, you’re the legendary, most-prized student of Old Master Sloan that everyone in the industry has been buzzing about."
"You were accepted into university early after just one year of high school, then handpicked by Old Master Sloan after a year and a half of college. In just two short years, you joined his core team and led the development of the new VMP rocket."
"Then you returned to the country, founded Lead Aerospace with Levin Sawyer, and created the miracle of reducing rocket costs by ninety percent."
"A genius! The genius of geniuses!"
"..."
Everyone usually called Levin Sawyer by his first name, but no one dared to do the same with Sophia Shaw.
They all spoke to her with honorifics.
Even though they were known as prodigies in their circle, compared to Sophia Shaw, the difference was night and day!
’So there are levels even among prodigies.’
If Levin Sawyer hadn’t revealed it tonight, no one present would have known that the master they were following was on such a completely different level!
’To be able to work with a master like her, I can die with no regrets!’
The geniuses all decided they had to cling to this master’s coattails for dear life and never let go!
’I’d follow her to the grave!’
Sophia Shaw watched the crowd before her, speechless.
’These oddballs were actually this terrifying when they started flattering someone.’
She shot an accusing glare at Levin Sawyer.
’Why did you have to tell them all that?’
Levin Sawyer shrugged helplessly. "They’d already asked me several times."
He hadn’t said anything before because Sophia didn’t want to win people over by relying on her past achievements.
Now that she had won everyone over with her own abilities, revealing it wouldn’t change anything.
「Outside the private room.」
Jenson Forrest clutched his phone, staring blankly at the only woman in the room.
She smiled with gentle tranquility, her beauty mark shimmering faintly, like a classic southern beauty stepping out of a painting.
Her gaze was soft, her demeanor gentle.
It easily made his heart pound.
’He originally thought Vincent Grant was the only thing standing between them.’
’Only now did he realize the distance between them was as vast as that between heaven and earth.’
"Brother? Brother?"
On the other end of the line, Lillian Forrest called out softly again and again.
She had to call several times before Jenson Forrest dazedly came back to his senses.
"Brother, are you listening to me? Can you help me ask Sophie to have a meal with me?"
"I miss her and Bun."
Jenson Forrest took a deep breath to suppress the shock and bitterness in his heart. "Lil, she’s very busy," he said in a low voice.
"Is she?" Lillian Forrest sighed in disappointment.
"Does that mean Sophie won’t have time to tutor me anymore?"
Jenson Forrest let out a self-deprecating laugh.
’Treating Sophia as just an ordinary tutor... It was an unforgivable mistake.’
"I’ll find you another tutor."
Lillian Forrest fell silent.
’She didn’t want another one.’
"Be good, Lil."
Jenson Forrest never got angry with her; he was always warm and gentle.
Lillian Forrest couldn’t bear to make things difficult for him, so even though she was reluctant, she could only agree dejectedly. "Okay."

After dinner, Sophia Shaw went to the Forrest Family’s home.
"Sophie?"
When their maid, Ma Lane, told her Sophia had arrived, Lillian Forrest couldn’t believe her ears.
She fumbled her way over and grabbed Sophia Shaw’s hand. "Sophie, it’s really you! I thought you weren’t going to teach me anymore."
Lillian Forrest had been quite sad all evening after her phone call with her brother.
She hadn’t even been in the mood to do her homework tonight.
Sophia Shaw’s sudden appearance made her so happy she was babbling.
"Of course not," Sophia Shaw said, gently taking her hand and leading her toward her room. "I promised I’d tutor you for a semester, and I don’t go back on my word."
"Something just came up at home recently, so I had to stop for a while."
’She didn’t like being indebted to people.’
’She wouldn’t be at ease until she had repaid her debts.’
After dinner tonight, she had calculated that she still had time, so she rushed over on the spur of the moment.
Lillian Forrest clung to Sophia Shaw’s hand, unwilling to let go. "I’m so lucky! Sophie, I’m definitely going to the temple tomorrow to pay my respects to all the gods and tell them the good news."
Sophia Shaw was amused by her.
But she also felt a pang of sympathy for Lillian Forrest.
To have lost her sight at such a young age—to have suffered such a great misfortune and still be able to optimistically say she was lucky. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
"Let’s start our lesson."

"Joanna, I heard Sophia Shaw was the center of attention today. What happened?"
Justin Hughes asked curiously in a private room at the club.
The Hughes Family’s network was extraordinary. Mr. Hughes had heard people talking about it at a social function, and knowing about the relationship between Sophia Shaw and Vincent Grant, he had asked Justin Hughes about it.
That was how Justin Hughes had found out.
Joanna Sherman held her wine glass, leaning lazily against the sofa as she lowered her head to take a sip.
"What else could it be? Levin Sawyer obviously set her up for it and made preparations in advance!" Sharon Sherman cut in.
"That explains it. A scheming bitch suddenly transforming into a pillar of the nation? How is that possible?" The hint of doubt in Justin Hughes’s eyes turned to disgust.
With Vincent Grant not around, Justin Hughes spoke without any restraint.
Thinking of Vincent Grant, he curled his lip again. "I don’t know what’s up with Vincent. Why is he still keeping that piece of trash around instead of divorcing her? Is he saving her for the New Year?"
Sharon Sherman had suffered at Sophia Shaw’s hands several times and was both hateful and fearful of her.
"Well, she’s just got her methods, doesn’t she? First, she climbed into Vincent’s bed to trap him, and now she has Levin Sawyer completely mesmerized."
"Vincent must be under her thumb, that’s why he can’t divorce her."
"She’s never satisfied, always wanting more. She keeps Levin Sawyer on the hook but refuses to divorce Vincent. How can a woman be so shameless!"
"You don’t get it," Justin Hughes interjected. "No matter how much Levin Sawyer dotes on her, given his family’s status, he could never marry her."
A sneer played on his lips, and his high cheekbones made him look all the more cruel.
"If she doesn’t hold on to Vincent Grant for dear life, with her half-assed skills, she won’t even be able to feed herself in the future."
"Speaking of which, the only attractive things about Sophia Shaw are her face and her body," another young master who often hung out with them commented.
He couldn’t help but compare her to Joanna Sherman.
Joanna Sherman was too thin. Although she was beautiful, she didn’t have the same appeal as Sophia Shaw’s slightly fuller figure.
Justin Hughes scoffed dismissively. "Tits for brains. Only someone like Levin Sawyer, who spends all year doing experiments in the desert and barely sees a woman, would be attracted to that."
Sharon Sherman was also displeased with the young master for complimenting Sophia Shaw. "If she hears you say that, watch out, or she’ll latch onto you!"
The young master put on a fearful expression.
His family required his future partner to be, at a minimum, a graduate from a prestigious university, with a clean family background and high moral character.
Sophia Shaw didn’t meet a single one of those criteria, and on top of that, she was a married woman.
’Better not to get entangled with her.’
Throughout the discussion, Joanna Sherman remained silent, but a dark glint flashed in her eyes.
’Sophia Shaw had thoroughly slapped her in the face today. In the future, she would continue to occupy the position of chief officer and trample all over her.’
’That’s not acceptable!’
Joanna Sherman took out her phone and sent a text to Yvonne Sherman: "Mom, spend some more time chatting and playing cards with Mrs. Fletcher recently."
