Pei Yan instinctively held the person tightly, protecting them in his arms. Qin Yun turned around and saw it was a girl of about seventeen or eighteen years old.

Qin Yun was wearing a hat and mask but was still recognized by someone. This person must be a true fan; Qin Yun didn’t deny it and instead asked with a smile what was wrong.

"Ah ah ah, it’s really you, Yunyun! I, I, I want an autograph. Can I take a photo with you? I’m a die-hard fan of yours; I’ve been following you for over a year. I think you’re simply my ultimate life goal. I also want to be independent and do everything I aspire to do!"

The young girl was very excited, and she clumsily took out a postcard from her bag and handed it to Qin Yun expectantly.

Even though her eyes were red with excitement, her voice was very soft and didn’t disturb anyone around her, nor did it draw anyone’s attention.

This little girl was so polite and truly adorable.

The people around looked at her as if she were crazy.

The girl took out her phone, and Qin Yun gladly nodded in agreement. She even deliberately pulled down her mask to take a photo with the girl.

Pei Yan protected Qin Yun; he had already called Zheng Qian and Yuanyuan to notify them. They never expected to be recognized and blocked like this.

Qin Yun saw the person on the ground being trampled and immediately got angry!

"I said, don’t push, don’t push! Someone is injured because of you; can’t you see?"

She raised her voice so the people before and after heard her. The excited crowd suddenly quieted down. Still, two or three feet were stepping on the person on the ground, and the frantic fans finally noticed there was someone there, so they all took two steps back, clearing some space.

Qin Yun nudged Pei Yan, indicating him to let go, but Pei Yan ignored her, his face cold.

Qin Yun poked his arm, "I just want to take a look; nothing will happen."

The person on the ground seemed to be a girl; she was lying motionless. Hopefully, nothing serious had happened.

Pei Yan frowned deeper, intending for Qin Yun to stay put while he checked. But the surrounding fans were intensely focused on Qin Yun, and he worried someone might push or bump into her.

"I’ll go with you."

After he said that, Pei Yan protected Qin Yun and walked towards the girl.

The fans around them made way, and the two reached the girl’s side.

"Are you okay?"

Qin Yun squatted down, carefully touched the girl, but she was motionless.

Qin Yun frowned, "Everyone move away a bit! If something happens, who will be responsible?"

The surrounding fans’ expressions changed, and quickly they created a circle of space.

"No way, how could a trampling incident have happened?"

"It doesn’t look that serious; how could she not be able to move, isn’t she just pretending?"

"Was she just stepped on twice? Can it really kill someone?"

"Shut up, all of you!"

Qin Yun’s face turned cold upon hearing the doubts around her.

"Do you think being trampled twice would have no consequences? Why don’t you try it, being stomped by so many people, and see if there’s anything wrong!"

"Not caring at all, do you really believe that if something happens to this child, you bear no responsibility?"

Qin Yun was angry, angry at their disregard for life.
