Chapter 454 - 453: Jinag

"Jejejeje… sweet prey," the High Rank 0 demon spoke as Nuk grinned.

"So you are intelligent?" Nuk asked with a smirk.

"Why not? Not all of us are brainless monsters," the High Rank 0 demon replied as Nuk chuckled.

"True. Then what's your name?" Nuk asked.

"Jinag," he replied, flashing his fangs.

"My name is Nuk… and let's have a great battle," Nuk said.

But Jinag laughed wildly.

"Battle? With you?" Jinag laughed even harder.

Then...

A single step.

And he was already standing in front of Nuk.

"This won't even be a warm-up," Nuk heard Jinag say as the world spun upside down.

Or rather…

It was Nuk himself that had been slammed into the ground.

Crack.

Nuk's head sank into the earth.

Bang!

Jinag stepped on Nuk's head, forcing it even deeper into the ground.

Then Jinag grabbed Nuk's tail and yanked him out.

Bang!

Bang!

He smashed Nuk into the ground twice before throwing him away.

Crack!

Nuk landed while gripping the ground with his claws, sliding several meters backward.

Traces of blood flowed from the corner of his lips, and several of his scales had shattered.

"High Rank 0…" Nuk muttered.

He could feel the massive gap between them.

He had not even been able to react to those attacks.

If this continued…

He would lose.

Just then, Nuk's vision darkened as intense pain exploded from his abdomen.

The ground rapidly shrank beneath him as he was launched into the sky.

"Damn it—"

But before Nuk could think further, Jinag appeared behind him and struck.

Bang!

Nuk crashed into the ground as Jinag stretched his back lazily.

"Distasteful," Jinag muttered as he walked toward the crater and looked inside.

"Huh?"

Jinag was startled.

Nuk was gone.

Instantly, Jinag shifted left as a fist shot past him.

The wind pressure alone revealed the terrifying force behind the attack.

But before Jinag could fully process what had happened, he felt something wrap around his leg.

Looking down, he saw Nuk's tail.

The next moment, Jinag's eyes rolled backward as Nuk drove his knee into his face.

Then came a sweeping kick.

And finally, Nuk clasped both fists together and slammed them downward.

Boom!

This combo finally proved effective as Jinag crashed heavily into the ground.

Standing up, Jinag shook his head slightly before looking toward Nuk.

But Nuk was no longer there.

This time, Jinag was prepared.

He pushed himself off the ground and rolled away.

Bam!

The ground where he had stood shattered apart.

Bang!

The two moved instantly and collided in the middle.

The earth sank inward beneath them as the two demons clashed like forces of nature.

This time, Jinag refused to lower his guard.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Like exploding thunder, their fists collided repeatedly.

Alas, Nuk was the weaker one.

His scales cracked apart as blood sprayed while they exchanged blows.

Their speed had already surpassed the speed of sound.

Shiaaa!

Space itself seemed to tear apart as a burning red figure slammed into Jinag.

BOOOOM!

The ground cracked as smoke covered the battlefield.

Finally, the dust settled.

Jinag stood firmly in place, tightly gripping Nuk's fist.

The attack that had turned Nuk into a blazing meteor had done almost nothing to him.

Pulling Nuk closer, Jinag twisted his body as his tail lashed outward like a divine whip.

Nuk gritted his teeth as intense pain erupted from his side.

The scales there had been ripped away completely as blood poured out endlessly.

Bang!

Bang!

A fist to the head.

Another to the stomach.

The two attacks sent Nuk flying backward as Jinag pressed the assault relentlessly.

Nuk used the ground as leverage, bouncing off it and redirecting himself as he barely dodged Jinag's next strike.

But the instant he landed, he crossed his arms above his head as a devastating kick descended like divine judgment.

BAM!

Crack!

Nuk felt his insides rupture as his arms dropped weakly to his sides.

Jinag slowly lowered his leg while grinning at Nuk.

"Come on… show me more."

Jinag muttered as he opened his palm before casually clenching it.

BOOM!

The air exploded like a grenade.

Violent winds blasted against Nuk's face, nearly throwing him backward.

"Right…" Nuk muttered as he slowly stood up, his injuries rapidly regenerating.

The two demons stood only inches apart, staring directly into each other's eyes.

The ground trembled ever so slightly as nearby rocks shattered apart.

A swelling pressure gathered around them as the surrounding Middle Rank 0 demons retreated further away.

Although Nuk was also a Middle Rank 0 demon, only a monster like him could survive against Jinag for this long.

If it had been any of the others…

They would have died already.

Honestly, Nuk himself was confused.

How was this possible?

The gap between him and Jinag clearly existed.

Even if Jinag was not fighting seriously yet, Nuk should not have been able to withstand this much.

Why?

Or had the Abyss somehow blessed him?

But unknown to Nuk, Jinag was not an ordinary High Rank 0 demon either.

Any hatchling that performed exceptionally well and slaughtered countless demons within the First Layer of the Abyss would receive blessings from the Abyss itself.

At least within this region…

Nuk and Jinag were the two most monstrous demons present.

And when two such demons clashed…

It became a feast for the eyes.

Far in the distance, Peak Rank 0 demons had already begun hunting the hatchlings.

Meanwhile, older High Rank and Middle Rank 0 demons also joined the slaughter.

A massive war had broken out, and it spread across every corner of the Second Abyss.

Bang!

Nuk and Jinag slammed their heads against each other as Nuk was pushed several steps backward.

But he clenched his fist as he felt a devastating force gather around it. The surrounding air was pulled inward as a small vacuum formed.

BOOOOM!

A loud sound, like a gunshot, echoed through the battlefield as Nuk's fist struck Jinag's face.

Yet Jinag remained completely unmoved.

"Is that all?" Jinag asked as Nuk backed away.

"Running?" Jinag asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Run…" Nuk whispered as his body turned into afterimages while he moved around Jinag at terrifying speed.

"Why would I run?" Nuk asked as he silently appeared behind Jinag.

Forget the fact that he had only been born today.

He was still a clone of Void.

Why the hell would he run?

Wouldn't that be a disgrace to Void himself?

And more importantly…

Nuk would never run.

Run from a battle?

Please.

He was a demon.

It was do or die.

He would rather die fighting than flee in fear.

That was simply who he was.

A battle fanatic to the core.

"Ahhh… you should have taken the opportunity," Jinag spoke slowly.

The moment those words entered Nuk's ears, an overwhelming sense of dread exploded within him.

But it was already too late.

Jinag grabbed Nuk by the neck and lifted him into the air.

"You've been fun… but still not enough."

BANG!

Jinag smashed Nuk into the ground before clenching his fist.

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Each punch drove Nuk deeper into the second abyss.

Each strike created an even larger crater.

Each impact caused the surrounding ground dozens of meters away to collapse as massive cracks spread across the battlefield.

And blood covered Jinag's fists.
