Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion
Chapter 433 - 432: Invitation
"Hmm…" Void mused as he observed the humans who had arrived.
Although he could sense beings and presences within this verse, they were… strange. Most of them did not even follow a known power system. They felt more like concepts—entities tied to rules or abstract laws.
In simpler terms, they could be destroyed… or not. But their abilities were fundamentally different. Their powers were bound to rules or concepts that Void could not yet fully comprehend.
Perhaps when he reached Rank 5… or even Rank 6.
For now, Void set those thoughts aside. He was only here to study the anomalies and that was exactly what he intended to do. He had already noted that they were unusual and tied to rules or conceptual frameworks.
Finally, Void turned his attention to the beings before him. They were human, yes, but they carried strange auras around them.
They wore equipment as well, and the materials and devices they carried were far from ordinary. For example, they could survive in space and endure the turbulent spatial conditions surrounding Void.
Before Void could think further, one of them finally spoke.
"Hello. My name is Dr. Elias. I am from the Foundation. Our mission is to study, contain, or capture anomalies—but more importantly, to understand them. Those that are dangerous are contained. So please, introduce yourself."
For the Foundation, the first method was always observation. After all, one must first understand whether a being is hostile or not. Regardless, that was their protocol. Even without their advanced equipment, they would always attempt communication first. If that failed and the entity was confirmed as a threat then they would proceed with containment.
"Oh…" a voice echoed in their minds.
Dr. Elias's eyes brightened.
Just a single glance from Void was enough to stabilize space itself. The distorted reality around them repaired instantly. Shattered stars returned. Destroyed worlds and moons reformed as if nothing had happened.
This did not go unnoticed by Dr. Elias or the personnel at the various monitoring sites.
Everyone watching was shaken.
Was that… time reversal?
Immediately, all initial classifications were discarded. This entity might require an entirely new category.
"My name is Osiris, and I am a Primordial Demon," Void said.
Everyone was stunned.
But Dr. Elias smiled.
Good. The entity could communicate. That was progress.
While Dr. Elias continued first contact with Void, other sites remained on high alert.
Some anomalies were observing silently. Others remained calm—it was unclear whether they were unaware of Void or simply indifferent.
But a few became aggressive.
One in particular was "The Old Man."
SCP-106
He had just escaped containment.
"Dr. Elias, there's trouble…" one of the Council members said, eyes fixed on his monitor as energy readings spiked once again.
"What is it?" Dr. Elias asked sharply.
"SCP-106 has escaped containment… and—"
"And?" Elias pressed.
"It is heading here."
Instantly, Dr. Elias's expression changed.
"Prepare containment procedures. Now!"
This was dangerous. A clash between SCP-106 and Osiris would be catastrophic.
They did not know how it would unfold but one entity demonstrated control over time-like effects, while the other could create pocket dimensions and hunt through them. SCP-106 had chosen Osiris as prey.
But they were not fast enough.
SCP-106 arrived.
He reached for Void
And in an instant, Dr. Elias and the others were separated from him.
Void vanished.
"…No…" Dr. Elias clenched his fists. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
It was too late.
Osiris had been taken into SCP-106's dimension.
Dr. Elias stared at the empty space.
For the first time, he wanted SCP-106 destroyed.
Osiris was too important. Not only did he display impossible spatial control, but he also originated from outside the known multiverse structure.
And yet… SCP-106 had targeted him.
Just as Dr. Elias prepared to report the breach and initiate full lockdown protocols—
Space trembled.
Void reappeared.
Unharmed.
Unmoved.
And in his hand… a small cube.
Inside it was SCP-106.
A compressed, elderly humanoid form, his body in an advanced state of decay. His skin was dark, corroded, and rotting.
Dr. Elias and the Council froze.
Fear spread through them.
The readings were correct.
Osiris was not something they could contain.
"Although the pocket dimension is functional, it has cracks here and there. It isn't solid enough… more like an unfinished layered domain," Osiris said as he explained to Dr. Elias.
"Dimensions can function far beyond this level of usage, but this is acceptable," Void added with a nod.
In the next instant, he appeared just a few inches away from Dr. Elias.
Seeing him so close, the Council members finally reacted, raising their weapons.
But Osiris merely stretched out his hand and returned the cube to them.
"This is a more compact pocket dimension. You can study and observe it. I'm sure it will help you in containing it. I suppose this is one of your anomalies," Void said calmly.
Being so close to Void left Dr. Elias stunned. Even through his protective gear, he could feel an overwhelming heat pressing against him. He was drenched in sweat almost instantly.
He quickly gestured to his subordinates, and they slowly lowered their weapons.
This… if Osiris had intended to kill them, he wasn't sure they would have been able to resist. And yet… what he had done was a tremendous favor to them.
Dr. Elias carefully took the small cube and examined it, his eyes brightening.
It wasn't that SCP-106 had been shrunk. The cube itself… was the anomaly.
Its true internal size was nearly that of a house in the external world, but within it stretched a galaxy-sized space. And yet, it could be compressed into something as small as a cube. Even its weight was almost nonexistent.
How was that possible?
Dr. Elias was visibly excited. This would be an invaluable subject of study.
He quickly spoke.
"Thank you, Osiris," Dr. Elias said, completely forgetting that his entire body was soaked in sweat, his internal systems nearly overwhelmed by the pressure.
Void nodded and stepped back slightly. Immediately, Dr. Elias's body temperature returned to normal, and he could breathe more easily.
"I am quite interested in this anomaly. If you have more, I would like to see them. For my interest and if possible—I will assist you in containing them to the best of my ability," Osiris said.
Dr. Elias was pulled out of his thoughts. His gaze reluctantly left the cube.
Hearing Void's words gave him hope.
Even if Osiris could not contain all SCPs, his strength was undeniable. He had effortlessly contained a Keter-class SCP and even suppressed its abilities. Osiris's power was not merely spatial or temporal, it was something far beyond that classification.
And unknowingly, Dr. Elias's curiosity had shifted.
It was no longer only about the SCPs.
It was about Osiris himself.
He wanted to understand him.
"That… we would greatly appreciate," Dr. Elias said, extending an invitation. "Please follow us. We have many more anomalies at Site-19 that may interest you."
Osiris nodded.
And in an instant, they warped away to one of the foundation sites..
Site-19.
