Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion
Chapter 403 - 402: Soul flag and Abyssal bases.
For a brief moment, silence returned to the room. The clash had revealed a lot and curbed the growing arrogance of some present.
"Now, back to what we were saying…" Linkir continued, breaking the silence like a sharp blade.
"It is not impossible for Dreadborne to help—but it won't be for free. It comes with two conditions," she said as Caius's frown deepened.
He was still shocked by the power of one of Dreadborne's leaders. Darius wasn't weak, he was a Quasi Rank 4 being(Omniversal) yet Caius hadn't even seen what happened. One moment, Darius had attacked… the next, his wrist was shattered, and the man calmly claimed responsibility.
How fast were they?
Even Darius looked stunned.
Was this the true capability of Dreadborne? Perhaps they weren't even on the same level as the other organizations. Maybe they belonged in the same caliber as the Wild Shade organization.
"What are the… two conditions?" Caius asked, while Darius stood silently at the side.
Although his wrist had healed, a rhythmic pain still pulsed through it. A strange energy lingered there, slowly dissipating.
Darius knew that until it vanished completely, the pain would remain.
"Quite simple. First, the race you call the 'demon' race—I want you to stop attacking them," Linkir said softly.
Caius's face twitched.
For years, that very race had been their greatest threat. Beings of pure destruction. Though the strongest seen so far had only reached galaxy level (Rank 2) and only briefly, most were planetary level (Rank 1). Yet even so, they ravaged planets and even entire galaxies.
Everywhere they passed became ruins.
Corpses upon corpses.
Now Linkir wanted them to stop attacking such a race?
Wasn't that the same as letting them run rampant?
Combined with the forefathers' destruction… wouldn't that spell the end of the Federation?
"Continue…" Caius said in a lowered voice. If the first condition was this outrageous, what about the second?
"As for the second, it's very simple," Linkir said with a faint smile.
"We want the Federation, the military, mercenary groups, pirate groups, and the Wild Shade organization… to bow to us."
"We will become their leaders."
"NO."
Caius rejected it instantly.
He had thought the first condition was already too much—perhaps the second would be manageable. But this?
This was even more outrageous.
For years, even the Federation and the military hadn't been able to dominate the other organizations. So what would change now?
Would those leaders really bow to Dreadborne just because of this crisis?
Impossible.
Even the Federation itself would never bow—let alone the others.
"I'm sorry… if this is how you welcome guests…" Caius paused, his eyes lingering on Alayot.
"Then we are sorry for even coming here."
"It seems we don't need Dreadborne."
He stood up and turned to leave, his guards following behind.
Darius lingered for a moment, clutching his wrist as he looked at Alayot.
"We will meet again… and next time, I won't lose like this," he muttered.
But it was as if his words fell on deaf ears.
Alayot didn't even spare him a glance.
His expression remained calm, refined—like a scholar untouched by the world.
After they left, Linkir sneered.
"Tch…"
"You will all bow before Dreadborne soon enough," she said with a faint smile.

At the Second Layer of the Abyss
Boom…
A dull sound echoed as a body collapsed to the ground.
A figure covered in boiling red liquid slowly stood up, two dark, reversed wings spreading behind her.
It was Nyx.
And she had found a way to remain in the second layer of the Abyss.
She had reduced her strength to Rank 0.
The cost?
She could no longer fly.
But she could still leap thousands of meters with ease.
All around her lay corpses—tens of thousands of peak Rank 0 demons.
They had all come for the flag in her hand.
That was right.
This was what Linkir had sent her to retrieve.
It had many names across different worlds and realities, but its most common name was…
The Soul Flag.
At its core, it was a tool used to collect souls.
But it didn't stop there.
The more souls it absorbed—and the higher their quality—the more terrifying its abilities became.
One of its most dangerous abilities was Soul Bind.
For a brief moment, it could bind the souls of enemies—regardless of their rank, as long as the wielder was strong enough.
And for Rank 2 beings and above…
A single moment was enough to decide victory or defeat.
"Worth it…" Nyx muttered as she watched the floating souls drift toward the flag.
Within moments, they were absorbed.
She shook her body, flinging off the blood covering her.
If she had access to her full power, not a single stain would remain.
But now…
Even after shaking, traces of blood clung stubbornly to her.
Still, she didn't care.
Nyx moved forward, heading toward the center of the Abyss.
During her exploration, she had made a discovery—
The second layer of the Abyss wasn't just a battlefield for demons.
It contained key zones.
Gateways.
Safe areas.
Places where other beings could enter the Abyss.
Yes…
Now she had seen them.
Other beings… coming into the Abyss.
And as for why they came—
Wasn't it already obvious?
Power or something else… regardless, they wanted what demons could offer—and they were willing to trade anything for it.
From their own souls…
to their loved ones…
to entire planets…
even realms. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
Within these key bases, there were various factions, each led by a Rank 3 leader.
But Nyx felt it went even deeper—perhaps connected to Rank 4 beings… or even higher.
Regardless, this was yet another steady stream of souls for demons, especially for those at Rank 2 and above.
They would not miss this opportunity.
And it was also time for her to inform Void about this…
If Void created something similar, it wouldn't just benefit him, it would benefit all of them. Their strength would grow even further, and they would gain access to even more terrifying worlds.
---
Back at the Dreadborne headquarters…
Void's eyes snapped open as a terrifying murderous aura spread outward.
"Darkseid…"
Void muttered as memories surged.
He couldn't forget what Darkseid had done to him.
Deep in his heart, he held a terrifying grudge against this New God.
And when he broke through to Rank 4…
He was going to pay the DC Universe a visit.
Thinking of the DC world, Void's frown deepened.
There were terrifying demons in that world—not from the Abyss, but beings with monstrous bloodlines and overwhelming strength.
Was it Trigon… Raven's father?
Or Lucifer Morningstar?
"Well… reach Rank 4 first, then think about the rest," Void murmured with a faint smile.
But right behind Void stood another being, one that looked exactly like him.
"Heh… isn't that my body? What the hell is going on…?"
"My body is thinking on its own… and worse still…"
"…how am I separated from my own body?"
********
Btw another interesting anime world is coming up.
You can give more suggestions and I will make void go there
Promise
But stay tuned, after this arc, a new anime verse where void is going to
