The Rank 4 dragon frowned. After all, he realized that the race connected to the monkey race was anything but simple. He could sense hundreds, perhaps thousands of Rank 4 beings linked to this race, suppressing his will so it wouldn't affect them.

He looked around. The other Rank 4 beings were present, especially the Rank 4 titans, all wearing expressions of amusement. He had definitely lost face here.

His gaze returned to the monkey that had started everything, then shifted to his son.

"I… I said… I will… eat dragon liver and meat…"

"I say…"

Doom… Dom… Badumm… Badum…

A loud heartbeat echoed as the dragon's eyes widened.

The monkey broke free from his control, floating into the sky. His aura surpassed Rank 3, and a terrifying silhouette appeared behind him, spanning existence itself.

The figure's back faced the dragon, yet the dragon felt as if space had frozen. His body trembled under a suppression unlike anything he had ever known.

Mind you, he was a Rank 4 entity, an Omniversal-level being. Yet now, he felt like a fish on a chopping board before this being.

A chaotic aura spread, causing all Rank 4 beings to frown.

What kind of terrifying being supports this monkey? And more so, was it linked to those Rank 4 beings that erased the dragons' will?

Even Kila, about to make a move, paused. What sort of being was Sun Wukong? He had thought he was the monkey's only ally… but it seemed this monkey…

Crack… crack…

Sun Wukong's golden fur darkened and crumbled to ashes. His skin cracked, red molten lava glowing around him.

This being wasn't just a monkey, it was the Chosen One. The being humanity knew as:

The Great Sage Equal to Heaven

The Victorious Fighting Buddha

The Monkey Born from Stone… the Stone Monkey

How dare a dragon defeat him or force him to bow?

He was not a god, nor an angel, nor a hero, nor a protagonist. He was a true demon, existing beyond all labels, now fully controlling his fight. No Buddha, no dragon could make him bow.

The Abyss awoke, channeling immense power to where Sun Wukong stood. His aura surged. The silhouette behind him became clearer, a demon with a human-like figure. Void smiled across space-time as the dragon's eyes bled.

Sun Wukong's staff fell, transforming from golden to a dark, molten-red magma as it landed in his hands.

"Who dares stop me?" Sun Wukong demanded as he landed beside the dragon.

His aura shifted between

Rank 4

and

Rank 5. Every Rank 4 and Rank 5 being watching from afar gasped.

They had heard of this race, but now seeing it firsthand changed everything.

The demon race… everyone knew of them. But demons were weak, right? Tiny creatures that could be destroyed with a snap of a finger. So why is he so strong?

Was he the Chosen One of the demon race, or had they never met the true demon race?

Boom…

Sun Wukong's feet smashed the dragon's head. The Rank 3 dragon died instantly as a Rank 4 aura flared, then stabilized. Sun Wukong's gaze remained cold and dead-eyed.

"Give me another dragon. This one is spoiled," Sun Wukong said calmly.

"What?? No… what??"

The Rank 4 beings knew Sun Wukong was receiving support from two entities, one unknown, the other close to Rank 4, the silhouette at his back.

But this was borrowed power. It could disappear anytime, leaving Sun Wukong vulnerable. So why the cockiness? He shouldn't push this Rank 4 dragon… this was enough.

"I don't like repeating myself," Sun Wukong said, stepping forward. The silhouette became clearer, spreading a Rank 4 aura. Sun Wukong's own aura mixed with it, pressing down on the Rank 4 dragon.

"This… this…" Kila was stunned. When had this ever happened? The high and mighty dragon race, being pushed around by someone they considered below them?

It was a huge insult but even Rank 5 dragons watched from afar, remaining silent.

"Sun Wukong… you are a mystery. Even after years with you, I still haven't glimpsed who you are, nor your master," Kila smirked, feeling his blood boil. After all, they were titans, and this battle had awakened their war instincts.

"Take…"

After a long silence, the Rank 4 dragon relented. A Rank 3 dragon, still alive, was thrown to Sun Wukong.

Before it could reach him, Sun Wukong beheaded it instantly.

Finally, a complete Rank 3 dragon body was presented. Sun Wukong smiled, satisfied. It was slightly lower quality than the one he had slain earlier, but it would do.

"I will return when your power wanes… then I will collect everything thrice over. Today's disgrace… will be repaid," the Rank 4 dragon threatened.

"I dare to see who will stand with you," the dragon said, glancing at the Rank 4 titans.

It didn't take a genius to see that this monkey had some connection with the titan race. His look was a warning: he wouldn't spare any Rank 4 titan that dared protect Sun Wukong. If they were smart, none would intervene, leaving him alone and even if formally supported, the titans would falter then he could easily kill or torture Sun wukong who opposed him.

He refused to believe Sun Wukong could wield this power at will.

Just as the dragon was about to leave, a voice spoke.

"What if the being is me? I support him. What will you do?" 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

Kila stepped forward, a glimpse of his former Rank 5 aura spreading out.

The Rank 4 dragon frowned.

"Kila… do you want another titan and dragon war?" the Rank 4 dragon asked, though Kila just laughed.

"It seems the peace treaty has made you forget who the titans are. We were never afraid of war," Kila said indifferently.

"I hope you don't go back on your word

then. Prepare for our response," the Rank 4 dragon said, disappearing.

With it, the other Rank 4 dragons vanished, and gradually even the gazes of the Rank 5 dragons faded away.

"We will be waiting," Kila said with a smirk, glancing back at Sun Wukong.

"You… this monkey," Kila spoke, as Sun Wukong's body morphed back to normal.

His borrowed strength vanished, the Void silhouettes disappeared, and the power of the Abyss dissipated.

Sun Wukong scratched his head and smiled.

"Nice to see you too, old man," he said with a faint laugh.
