Above The Sky
Chapter 2035 - 31: The Fusion of Star God and The End?
"Indeed, the process by which the Fragment of Demise broke free from the Skyfall Spaceship back then wasn’t so simple."
Ever since Ian learned the true story of the Heavenfall incident, he has been pondering.
—Was there truly a vast difference in power between the Star God and The End?
Even if there was, was it so great that a Star God couldn’t even defeat a single Fragment of Demise?
Now it seems, the gap in their level is probably not that great.
Most likely, it was because of the Aether recovery, and the ’Great Aether Circulation Closure Event’ as the Silent True Demon called it, which left the Star God on the spaceship temporarily unadjusted, the constraints failed, giving the Fragment of Demise a chance for a surprise attack.
That surprise attack led to the Skyfall Spaceship crashing, but the Star God on the spaceship didn’t ’fail.’
The God immediately sealed the Fragment of Demise, adjusted the landing speed of the spaceship, restrained the Spark so it wouldn’t scatter too much, and prevented the spaceship from crashing into Terra, averting the destruction of Terra and leaving hope for the Cradle’s survival.
The Star God did everything it could do, and after sealing the Fragment of Demise, it also perished.
Its body crumbled and decomposed, transforming into the first wave of Aether-Origin Quality Spiritual Energy that swept over Terra, with some fragments left in the vast space from the Cradle’s gap to the Comet Cloud, others falling on Terra, some landing on the New Continent, and several others in the Tranquil Sea.
As for why different fragments were located at the two ends of the planet...
Ian had a bold guess.
"Could it be that the Skyfall Spaceship directly penetrated the entire Terra Planet? The Tranquil Sea, being on the other side of Terra Planet, seems to be the New Continent!"
Slightly reconstructing the star structure of Terra in his mind, Ian couldn’t help but gasp: "So it could be that the entire Tranquil Sea isn’t merely a sea but a gigantic molten pit?"
This isn’t impossible, rather, in the absence of continental compression, the Mediterranean-like Tranquil Sea shouldn’t exist at all!
It is the largest ’landform change’ caused by the ’Calamity of Heavenly Fall’! Just because it’s so vast, the average person wouldn’t even consider this point.
Following this line of thought, Ian realized there are many other things that could be explained. "The ’Mantle Pillar’ suppressed over at Far Shore Island...could it be the ’aftershock’ left by that impact?"
"After all, it pierced through the entire planet, even if the Star God and Thousand-Star Beast pacified most of the damage, some couldn’t be smoothed out, which led to the awkward situation on Far Shore Island today!"
"And some of the lingering sighs and grievances of the Star God transformed into the Silent True Demon, guarding the technology within its fragments, waiting for someone like me or future ’Pioneers’ to obtain it."
"But among future Terra People, there was no one who met the criteria, so the True Demon remained silent, unless there’s a problem with the seal on Dragon Island, otherwise it remained unmoved."
"Until I arrived."
Ian came to the Realm of Light not by coincidence; he had been searching all over Whole Terra for information about the Skyfall Spaceship and relics of pre-era civilizations. With such a large pre-era labyrinth in the Realm of Light right here, he, as the King of Fiery Flame Land, definitely had to take a look.
But he didn’t expect that the information contained in the Realm of Light would be so important!
"In those battles, the Star God must have done something to the Fragment of Demise, otherwise, the couple’s timing wouldn’t be so synchronized."
Steadying his mind, Ian calmed down: "Perhaps, in their battles, they embedded parts of each other into themselves?"
Earlier, when he went to Dragon Island under Mahdi’s identity, he obtained many data that seemed somewhat meaningless then, but now, those data are extremely valuable, at least, if he hadn’t gone to Dragon Island, he wouldn’t have sensed the essence of the Black Hole Seal or obtained related maintenance times.
But the problem arises—Ian had only recently undergone the Ashen Pathway.
He remembered Terra was devastated long ago by an enhanced version of the Calamity of Light, likely wiping out the Realm of Light, and the Silent True Demon should have vanished long ago.
If there really is a connection between the True Demon and the Fragment of Demise, then why did the fragment break free over 160 million years later in Dragon Island? Is the influence unilateral?
Or is it that because the Silent True Demon perished, the Fragment of Demise only broke free after 160 million years?
This question lacks clues and is hard to answer.
"I need to have another chat with Dragon Island." Ian thought to himself, then walked further towards the center of the Realm of Light.
He recalled, during the Ashen Pathway, the Fragment of Demise did nothing and directly headed to the star, creating a Black Hole Nest.
Is this normal or abnormal? If The End is indeed a life form of wisdom, why didn’t it avenge the long imprisonment at Dragon Island or ’Ashen Ian’?
Hmm...The End is a life form of the time axis, perhaps it doesn’t mind being sealed for those billions of years? Or perhaps being inside a black hole doesn’t even count as being sealed to it?
For a moment, the thoughts were complex, but Ian’s understanding of the existence form of The End became clearer: "Speaking of which, if I take a part of the Silent True Demon to the Black Hole Seal on Dragon Island to attempt communication with the Fragment of Demise...will the Fragment react?"
Thinking of this, Ian turned and looked directly at the Pupationer following him, who appeared to be shocked.
The Pupationer remained stunned by Ian’s awakening of the Silent True Demon; in the past, forces centered in the City of Knowledge conducted numerous studies on the Realm of Light and the Silent True Demon, but results were generally fruitless.
