100X Returns System: I Dominate the Age of Gods
Chapter 315. Trial of blood - 1
[Individual Tamasya has awakened her path, ’The Ruler of Eternal Darkness’]
William looked at the notification with a quiet sense of satisfaction, a faint smile formed on his face, and he thought to himself, "Finally, she has a path too."
While his gaze shifted toward Tamasya, carefully observing her condition rather than celebrating the moment, because despite the achievement reflected in that message, her current state told a different story.
Her eyes appeared cold and unfocused, and as he studied her expression, he could clearly see the signs that her body was reaching its limit, and even before anything happened, he understood that she was on the verge of collapsing.
William let out a low sigh and immediately acted on that realization. He willed for her to be pulled into the Domain of Infinity so that she could recover safely without any further strain.
[ding!! Tamasya has resisted your will]
The notification appeared in his mind, and before he could process it further, her voice echoed directly in his mind, firm despite her weakening state,
"I will fight."
William’s expression tightened as he heard her response, because it was evident to him that she needed rest more than anything else at that moment, and continuing in her condition would only push her further toward collapse.
"You should rest inside the domain," he responded quickly, his tone carrying urgency as he tried to reason with her, "even if you come out a day later, only a few minutes would have passed outside."
"No," she replied without hesitation, her mental voice strained but resolute, "a few minutes can tip the balance of a battle."
William tried to argue further, but before he could form another sentence, he noticed her expression changing into one of panic and fright as she looked at him.
"William, watch out!!!" Samantha’s voice suddenly rang out loudly, cutting through his focus, and before he could react or even turn properly, a beam of blood flame surged forward and engulfed him completely.
"Tch pest!! You all will die today, how dare you challenge the authority of primarchs!!!" Elavlin’s voice echoed with fury as she declared her intent.
The crimson flames passed through William entirely; their intensity was enough to alarm everyone watching, and for a brief moment, the battlefield fell into a stunned silence.
Tamasya gasped as she witnessed the attack; her already weakened body reacted instinctively as she struggled to stand, while Andrea’s expression shifted into visible panic, and Winston, who had been watching from a distance, allowed a mocking smile to form on his face as if he had just witnessed the inevitable conclusion.
Only Anastasia remained composed; her calm demeanor remained unchanged as she stood there after having evacuated the civilians earlier, observing the situation without panic as if she knew something others did not.
Everyone present understood the nature of such flames, as special flames were known to be extremely dangerous, and even the slightest contact could result in irreversible damage, making opponents who wielded them exceptionally difficult to defeat.
Elavlin’s blood flame was one such ability, not categorized as a divine flame, yet possessing properties dangerous enough to threaten even other primarchs, as it directly affected the blood within a target’s body, causing it to dry, boil, and destabilize in ways that often led to internal destruction, with victims either exploding or burning from within.
The flame could bypass defences and spread like a virus in the victim’s blood.
She fully expected that William would not survive such an attack, believing that his internals had been reduced to nothing under her flames, but as the fire dissipated, William stepped forward, completely unharmed.
The reaction across the battlefield was immediate, as shock spread among those who witnessed it, because none of them were aware of the nature of William’s physique.
The divine sun god’s physique granted him a unique and absolute advantage.

Absolute Fire Immunity: the host is immune to all forms of flames and heat, including divine flames, hellfire, karmic fire, and conceptual burning.

William looked directly at Elavlin; his expression remained calm, and with a subtle smile, he spoke, "Are you ready to be hunted like your friend?" 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
Elavlin narrowed her eyes as she heard him, clearly displeased by his tone, and responded with a dismissive snort, "Hmph, you are nothing more than an ant in front of me. Do you really think your words can bridge the vast gap of cultivation between us?"
The moment her words settled, another notification appeared in William’s mind.
[Ding!! The target named Alister has died, his soul has been detected as eligible for sacrifice]
[Ding!! The soul harvesting formation is extracting Alister’s cultivation for the host]
Almost immediately, the atmosphere around them shifted subtly, and although Elavnil could not identify the exact cause, she could clearly feel that something had changed.
As William briefly shifted his attention away from her, Tamasya, despite her condition, noticed the mark she had drawn earlier on William’s back begin to glow faintly with a blue light, indicating the activation of something significant.
William stretched his body slightly as a surge of mana rushed into him, filling his entire being with a powerful influx of energy.
[Ding!! host’s cultivation has been increased to the peak true godhood stage temporarily]
[Ding!! Individual Sunchaser’s cultivation has been increased to the peak true godhood stage temporarily]
The rise in power extended to Sunchaser as well, since he was fused with William, and although the boost was temporary, it was more than enough to compensate for the difference in raw cultivation when combined with superior techniques.
William let out his aura, and only then did Elavnil realise the sudden change that had happened was actually the rise in William’s cultivation.
"What?!" Elavnil exclaimed in shock as she realized that not only had her attack failed, but her opponent’s strength had increased dramatically.
William did not hesitate even for a moment, and the Armament Nexus appeared in his hand, transforming seamlessly into the sword Crimson Aeon. The blade was trembling excitedly as if reacting with eagerness to devour Elavnil’s blood.
Sovereign Sword Intent flared around Will, altering the pressure in the surroundings.
Elavnil immediately assessed the situation, realizing that if William, Anastasia, and Samantha coordinated against her, the situation could quickly become unfavorable, especially now that her flame had turned useless against William.
Her gaze shifted briefly toward the sky, where Victor and Rah continued their battle, and then toward the remains of Alister’s corpse on the ground, and a sense of urgency began to build within her.
An alarm rang in her mind as she understood the need to strengthen herself further, and she decided that consuming Alister’s blood would provide her with the boost she needed to maintain her dominance.
However, the moment she attempted to move, she realized that her body would not respond.
Void Sovereignty Spell

1st Form: Space Lock — locks the target in its current coordinates, sealing all movement and spatial actions, preventing teleportation, displacement, or forced relocation.

Before she could react further, a sword infused with intense sword intent appeared from behind and pierced through her stomach, carefully avoiding her heart, as William intended to keep her alive for his own purposes.
His hand then came down on her shoulder, and in the same instant, he activated Stellar Fire.
The fire spread rapidly within her body, moving uncontrollably as it sought out its target, clashing violently with her blood flame.
Elavnil let out a piercing scream as the two forces collided within her, her body convulsing under the internal conflict.
In response, her blood flame surged outward, attempting to break the spatial restriction placed upon her, and for a moment, it succeeded in disrupting the Space Lock.
However, William maintained his grip firmly, and Crimson Aeon remained embedded within her, preventing any escape.
The sword began absorbing her blood greedily, while the Stellar Fire continued to hunt down and suppress the blood flame inside her body.
Her screams grew sharper and more desperate as the situation worsened.
Realizing that it could not withstand the overwhelming pressure, the blood flame abandoned her body entirely, manifesting outside as a concentrated red drop that ignited into flames.
"No!!!" Elavnil screamed as she watched her greatest source of power leave her permanently.
While this intense battle unfolded on one side of the colosseum, Tamasya, who had already pushed herself beyond her limits, finally succumbed to exhaustion, her body unable to sustain itself any longer.
She collapsed unconscious beside the massive remains of the phoenix.
At that moment, a new presence emerged silently near her, unnoticed by most.
It was Cardinal Nathan, who had just returned from a mission assigned by the Pope, and he had been hiding his presence carefully, waiting for an opportunity to act.
Due to his comparatively lower cultivation, his presence had blended into the surroundings with other warriors, making him difficult to detect among the stronger individuals.
The moment he saw Tamasya collapse, he recognized it as the opportunity he had been waiting for.
Without hesitation, he appeared beside her with his sword already drawn, and in a swift motion, he brought it down toward her, intending to end her life instantly.
Just as the blade was about to strike.
*pchik*
Andrea appeared in front of him at that exact moment, intercepting the attack without delay.
Nathan understood immediately that he would not survive this, and instead of resisting, he accepted his fate, knowing that his action had at least created an opening for his master.
Andrea’s claws tore through his chest, while Anastasia, who had appeared behind him simultaneously, severed his head in the same instant.
Nathan’s existence ended without any further struggle.
Andrea let out a breath of relief, believing she had arrived just in time, but as she looked at his severed head, she noticed a faint smirk still present on his face.
Anne noticed her concern.
"Perhaps he did not even realize what happened and thought he could actually harm Tamasya," Anastasia said calmly before discarding the head.
Andrea, however, did not relax, as a sense of unease began to settle in her mind.
"No, something is wrong," she said, her tone turning serious as she turned to move back toward her previous position, and in that instant, realization struck her.
She had left Winston unguarded.
Her expression changed immediately, and without wasting any time, she moved toward that section of the pulvinar where she had last seen him.
When she arrived, she found Theodore and his son lying there, both severely injured and covered in blood.
She quickly administered potions to them, understanding that Winston had deliberately left them alive so that she could tend to them.
"What happened?" Anastasia asked as she appeared beside her once again.
"Winston escaped," Andrea replied in a low voice, unable to hide the frustration rising within her.
Anastasia looked at her briefly before responding with calm decisiveness, "You take care of Tamasya, I will go after him," and without waiting for further discussion, she turned and left through the nearest exit.
