CRACK!

"AAAHH! SHIT! OH GOD! MY HAND!" 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

The thug fell to his knees clutchIng his broken hand, wailing in horrific pain. Suddenly his friends behind him didn’t look so confident anymore. They backed up and looked ready to run as realisation flashed in their eyes.

"He didn’t hide from the waves..."

"What is he? Level 3?"

Faust hummed, rubbing his chin. "You just spat on my grace so I can’t let you leave peacefully."

The both of them glanced at their friend crying on the floor and the open alleyway behind the, where the two girls had gotten up.

"If you try running, I’ll break your legs. Buttt. I can let you off easily. Both of you just have to come here and punch me in the face like your friend."

There was a brief moment of stunned silence before they realised what Faust was planning for them.

"Come on. Don’t waste my time or I’ll break them myself. If you hold back, I’ll punch you."

Everyone stared at each other following the strange situation. Even the girls were just lost on what was even happening.

But the two men came forward regardless. The first man threw a half hearted punch. The dull thud of bone hitting what felt like stone sounded and the man groaned.

"Hmmm, not quite good enough," Faust said, shaking his head.

The man raised his hands to defend himself, but Faust fist connected to his belly before he even realised what happened.

He flew up into the air, slamming into the roof of the house beside them and falling back down unconscious.

The leader, the one with stringy black hair, stared at his friend in horror.

Faust waved at him. "You guys will have to carry him out of here. Now come on. Hit me."

To the man’s credit, he didn’t hesitate anymore. He closed his eyes, gritted his teeth and threw his hardest punch.

CRACK!

"AAAH! Argh!" He did his best to suppress his scream of pain. Then blinking through his tears, he looked up at Faust and asked, "c-can we go?"

"Yes. Be quick," Faust said, waving them off.

As they scurried out of the alleyway, Faust used Schema Replication on Amelia. He didn’t have any open slots, but he could still check what Schema she had.

[Schema: Weapons maker]

[Rank: Platinum]

[Details: Your ability to craft powerful weapons is greatly improved.]

[Schema Abilities: Magnify Enchantment, Material Recomposition]

A Platinum-grade Schema and she’s hiding instead of trying to get the Event rewards...

Faust resisted the urge to facepalm, eyebrow twitching. He didn’t know the exact order, but he knew Platinum was above Gold and below Epic most likely.

Besides that, only thirty percent of people got Schemas.

Most of them were Bronze or Iron Grade. Gold and platinum were the top 10%, they were the ones you were most likely to see and go "That guy’s insane."

Platinum Schema enhances your skills to make you better. If Faust used Fireball with the Scorched Earth Schema, the effect would be far greater than a normal Fireball. There were cases like Zen’s Platinum Schema that weren’t useful without water spells, but they were still the best.

Then they were Epic schema’s like Nirvana’s or Spider’s, which allowed them to far surpass people on their level.

As for Legendary Grade.... He hadn’t met anyone with a Legendary Grade schema, besides himself. But he was obviously on a higher ground than the other players.

By now the two girls were just trembling under his gaze so he decided to lighten up the situation.

"Do any of you know where I can get water? I look a bit savage right now and I smell like a nuclear plant."

"No it’s not that bad!" Ranna reflexively consoled.

"That’s a lie, but I appreciate it."

"I mean at least you want to bathe," Amelia said. "Those three have given up on smelling human."

Ranna nodded. Her bronze skin glowed even under the moonlight’s pale light. She smelled faintly like sandalwood even from this distance.

"There’s a well not far from here and I have some soap," She offered. "Amelia and I can get you some water."

"I actually need to talk to Amelia," he said.

They both got closer together and watched him nervously.

"No, no, it’s not that. You have a crafting skill?" He asked quickly.

Amelia nodded. "One of them kind of binds magical effects to objects temporarily. The other helps me craft swords."

"That’s perfect. Let me get—" he jumped back into the house and returned with the spider golems.

Thankfully they hadn’t run off. Or maybe he moved too quickly for them to consider it.

"I made these two Golems, but I have to bind the red eye parts to me so I can use them to scout the gate."

"You want to go inside that fucking thing!" Amelia exclaimed immediately. "I’m going to guess you’re a high ranking player from how you dealt with those *********."

She has quite the tongue....

"I want to check the gate for something. I’m not entering yet, unless I have to."

Personally he wanted to. Sneaking past all those monsters and attacking from within sounded like an elite experience.

Amelia took the construct and studied the red orb briefly for a moment before saying, "My skill is blinking off an on. I think you have to detach the eye and then i can bind it. But I’ve never bonded with a person."

"The item is meant to be binded to people so I think," Faust said, rubbing his chin. "Let’s go inside. We can work there."

Amelia and Ranna looked at each other then at him, before begrudgingly nodding.

A/N: A race change quest will come soon to get more attribute points per level. What race do you think would be cool? And its buffs and innate abilities?

I have an idea that I’ve already started setting up, but I’d like to hear what you’d like to see.
