100 Days to Seduce the Devil
Chapter 951: TWO YEARS LATER...
ETHAN'S POV
Two Years Later…
A lot of things happened in just a span of two years.
I'm now eight years old, attending grade school.
As the sole witness of my parents' magical love story, I've seen the ups and downs… the roller coaster rides as their story unfolded… until they finally tied the knot and made a vow of loving each other forever.
It made me wonder if I would also experience such great love once I became an adult.
"Well. I'm still young. I'm not in a rush!" I mumbled before letting out a soft giggle.
I was currently in my room, watching over my cute little sister, Hazel. She was now two years old.
She sat on her small toddler chair next to mine. I've been talking to her as we flipped the pages of a photo album.
Instead of reading her bedtime stories or fairytale books, I chose to tell her the story updates about the people in the photo album… the things that happened to them for the past two years.
I believed my cute little sister was not the only person who was curious about what happened to them. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖
"Shall we start, Baby Sis?"
Hazel let out a soft chuckle as if she had understood me. She bobbed her head while looking at me with her sparkling emerald eyes.
"These two gentlemen are our Dad's best friends, Uncle Aiden and Uncle Stephen. They are your godfathers."
Hazel giggled once more, then uttered the word, "Gafa! Gafa!" She used her fingers, pointing at their photos.
"Yes. They are your Gafas."
"Just like our Mom and Dad, your Gafa Aiden, who was formerly known as a playboy, had finally married the woman who changed him to be a better gentleman, our Aunt Cherry. Aside from being his wife, she became Uncle Aiden's secretary, who had been assisting him in managing his own company. "
"Gama! Gama!" Baby Hazel said, referring to Aunt Cherry as her godmother.
I smiled and gently patted her hair.
"Yes. The woman standing next to your Gafa Aiden is your Gama Cherry. Do you know, baby sis, that your Gama Cherry was a famous hacker called Black Rose?"
"They just got married last year. And now, Aunt Cherry is five months pregnant. Are you excited? Once she gives birth, you will have another playmate, aside from Baby Amara."
"Yes, pway-mate! I want more pway-mate, Bwother!" Little Hazel excitedly clapped her hands.
I could only chuckle as I watched her beaming with joy. I gently caressed her fluffy cheeks.
Baby Amara is now one year and six months old. She was the first daughter of Uncle Axel and Aunt Chantha.
A few months after Dad and Mom's marriage, Uncle Axel and Aunt Chantha also tied the knot. It was a simple wedding celebration, but all the members of the Syphiruz Mafia attended.
The couple continued leading the Syphiruz. However, the organization was no longer a mafia. It became a topnotch Security Company in the country.
It was now operating legally. The former branch leaders, such as Spider and Joker, became the CEOs of the branches abroad.
But in the shadows, Syphiruz also created another secret group, inspired by the Phantom Assassin Guild. This group was called PGS– The Phantom Guild of Syphiruz.
It was headed by Violet, Chantha's twin sister. This group was accepting assassination jobs, but they were only targeting bad and corrupt people.
I scratched my head as I recalled what Uncle Axel had told my Dad a few days ago. It seemed that he was still thinking of making me the future leader of the Syphiruz. He consulted my father, Nathan, about it.
My Dad didn't give him an answer. However, he told Uncle Axel that the decision must come from me, whether I was willing to accept it or not, when the time was right.
Honestly, I also aspired to be a good fighter like my Mom and Dad. I thought being a future leader of the Syphiruz could give me more power to keep my loved ones safe from dangers.
I had so many people to protect now, including my little sister, Hazel. So, I was not closing the possibility of becoming a leader of the Syphiruz.
"Bwother! Bwother, how's Gafa Steph?" Hazel's voice snapped me back to the present. She tugged my arm as she pointed her finger at Uncle Stephen's photo.
"Hmmm. It seems that my baby sis is now curious to hear an update about Uncle Stephen. Do you miss Gafa Steph now, baby sis?"
Little Hazel bobbed her head while pouting her lips. She had been missing Uncle Stephen because it had been six months since the last time he visited us.
I'd noticed that my baby sis became more fond of Uncle Stephen.
"Your Gafa Stephen has become a humanitarian doctor, Baby Sis. He remained single until now. Perhaps, he still couldn't find the person who could replace our Mom in his heart."
"I'll show you some pictures he sent to me. We can try video calling him later. He often goes to remote areas with no signal. Hmm. I know you are proud of your Gafa Steph. He is a good doctor. He chose to work abroad as a medical volunteer, helping communities in need, especially those in disaster zones."
"I'm Pwoud Gafa! I miss Gafa."
"Don't worry, Baby Sis, he promised to come home on your 3rd Birthday. We will see him soon." I stroked her head, comforting her.
Honestly, I was grateful to Uncle Stephen. He was there by my mother's side when she needed someone. He helped her cope with her traumatic experience. I admired Uncle Stephen for that.
I felt sorry for him because he loved someone who couldn't reciprocate his love. I just wished for him to be happy. I knew that he always cherished the memories he spent with my mother.
Despite everything, my Uncle Stephen remained loyal to my father, Nate. He never tried to covet or steal my mother from my father. He was the best! I loved him so much.
Even if he couldn't find someone to be with, I knew that Uncle Stephen could feel the fulfillment in life by helping people in need. That was the kind of person he was.
"Hmm. Baby Sis, shall we take a break first and have some snacks? What do you want to eat?"
"Yey! Bwother! Me want choco!"
I scratched my face upon hearing that. "Ahem, Baby Sis, Mom said… You can't eat chocolate today. You can only eat chocolate on Mondays and Fridays."
"Owkay. Me want apple! Gwapes and Owange!"
I chuckled and squeezed her cheeks. "That's my good girl. Let's eat more fruits today!"
I picked her up from her chair and put her down to walk beside me. Her small fingers clung to me. We headed downstairs.
Then we ran into Butler Li on the stairs.
"Young Master Ethan, and little Mistress Hazel, where are you both going?" Butler Li asked.
"We want to eat some fruits, Uncle Li!"
"Alright. Just let me prepare the fruits. You can wait in the living room."
"Okay. Uncle Li. Thank you so much!"
Until now, Butler Li continued serving the Sparks Family. He always took care of Hazel and me whenever Dad and Mom were not around.
