10,000x Reward Multiplier: Hell-level Kingdom Building
Chapter 71: [0] Twins
Two members of the Yellow Orchid Guild came and joined the two of them, as they were previously having a conversation a bit further away from the others.
The two that came were beautiful women in their mid-twenties. They had scarves wrapped around their heads, but their distinctive red hair could not be hidden.
They had tanned skin, their bodies were slender with more than enough curves in the right places that made them difficult to resist.
They also carried a seductive charm with them that could make any man fall.
The two of them strolled closer, swinging their waists seductively, smiling brightly at Floki who was facing them.
Once they were near him, their heavy perfume filled his nostrils, sweet and charming, just like their smiles.
"Evander, why didn’t you inform us the Baron of Ironside is this handsome?" one of them, taller than the second, scolded Evander playfully before turning to meet Floki.
’So he is beginning the seductive phase so quickly?’ Floki chuckled at Evander’s cunningness. ’But what if I beat you to your game?’ he smirked inwardly.
He met the alluring eyes of the two heavily endowed women and smiled brightly at them.
"Really bad of him not to bring you two beauties out first," he responded smoothly.
He strode forward confidently, his tall posture and build giving him an added boost of attractiveness.
He took the hands of the two young ladies, bowed softly, and kissed them while his gorgeous blue eyes stared deep into theirs.
The two young ladies almost crumbled as they felt themselves being charmed instead of the other way around.
But Floki was not even done yet.
"God must be very proud of what he created, he had to make two of you," he added in a subtle and low voice.
Managing to force a tinge of red onto their faces as they began to blush.
Behind them, Evander’s confidence shattered as he saw the movements and reactions of the two seductresses. They were falling for him.
His expression turned ugly.
Yet Floki continued, speaking so many enticing words that even Evander began to feel that they should get a room at this point.
Once Floki was satisfied with breaking the two women’s confidence, he stood back and asked with a gentle smile on his face.
"May I get the honor of knowing your beautiful names."
The two of them flashed a smile, their bodies squirming seductively as they introduced themselves.
"Tania Roseborn," the one with the mature kind of beauty responded.
"Thalia Roseborn," the other added. She was just as beautiful as Tania, but she fell in comparison to her twin in the chest area.
Floki took their hands and kissed them once again, forcing them to chuckle cutely at his actions.
Then Floki turned to Evander who now wore an ugly expression on his face.
"So what were you saying just now?" he asked.
"Ehh..umm, yeah I was asking if you accepted my deal," Evander struggled at the beginning, yet he quickly found his flow again.
Then Floki turned to Tania and Thalia whose gazes kept moving up and down his body, observing his lean muscles, the veins on his hands, and his lips as he spoke.
"Ladies, hear this out and tell me if it is right."
Floki recounted everything Evander requested for, adding subtle twists that made them even worse than they originally sounded. Evander almost lost his composure and nearly retorted when he heard his own version.
"That is outrightly preposterous. Evander, did you really try to cheat this handsome fine lord? When did you lose your kind heart?" Tania turned to Evander and scolded him.
"That is too much, a whole year? What are you trying to achieve?" Thalia added immediately after.
Floki observed with a smirk, noting carefully how Evander struggled for proper answers.
He could tell that the two young ladies were not just ordinary members of the caravan. Based on their surnames, the aura they carried about them, their reaction to his noble etiquette, and how Evander, the leader of the caravan, had not spoken up, it was clear they were most likely nobles, maybe even from a nobler family than Evander himself.
Yet he could not help but feel proud of what he had just done.
’Is this what they call rizz?’ he mused inwardly.
He stepped forward, and this time he took everything up a notch further. 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
He stepped between the twin red-haired sisters and grabbed their waists, resulting in a slight shiver of ecstasy as the two women turned to look at him with blush on their faces. They fell silent at once.
But it was not the same for the others at the caravan.
The mercenaries’ jaws slackened, their eyes widened at the sight in disbelief.
Some even began to rub their eyes as though they were seeing something wrong.
"Is that guy holding the waist of the two princesses?" one whispered quietly to his colleague.
"Idiot, we’re looking at the same thing, why are you asking me?" the colleague refuted immediately.
Unbeknownst to the little commotion he had caused around him, Floki shamelessly utilized his charm to get what he wanted.
"How about this? I’ll pay you a quarter of the price now, you’ll build the market, and for three months, you and your caravan get to pass this route safely? Fair, right?"
Evander froze for a brief moment and then reacted sharply.
"That is not fair at all!" he said. "Just the cost to build is more than five gold coins and my caravan does not pass this route very often. It is a loss-loss situation for us."
Floki smiled calmly.
"I am doing you a favor, Evander," he began. "In a few weeks, this place would be a city, there would be more connections, more caravans lining up, and more business to be done."
This time it was not only Evander that was puzzled. Tania and Thalia were as well.
The average time it takes for a town to evolve into a city is three years, and that is for already organized towns.
From what they had observed, this town still retained features of its village phase like the huts which were glaring and the scanty marketplace.
Yet he claimed he would be doing it in just two weeks. Was he simply bragging to win them over?
"How about this? If in two weeks, this place is not a city, I would accept your deal and increase the time to five years," Floki proposed.
Without even thinking about it.
"DEAL!"
Evander barked and quickly brought out a golden scroll from the spatial ring he wore on his finger.
"Please say that again."
Floki did as he was told, and Evander added his part.
On the golden scroll, words magically scribbled themselves down and soon two glowing parts appeared.
Evander bit his finger and dipped his blood on one, and Floki did likewise for the other.
The two women tried to stop Floki, thinking he was taking a decision he would soon regret.
They were so charmed that they now cared more about his well-being than the profit of their caravan.
Yet Floki went ahead.
[ You’ve made a blood deal. The terms of this deal have been agreed by both parties and witnessed by the divine. In the event of the deal not being fulfilled, the defaulter would be forced by the divine to fulfill it in twofolds. ]
Evander grinned widely.
"You would have to keep your words, Baron."
"Sure. You can start building the marketplace."
